Abstract The analysis of the process of milling of polyhedrons on lathes with CNC was executed. It is well-proven that cycles machining, which is offered by firms, does not allow to control cutting process on the machine-tools. There was created software for simulation of milling process. Descriptions of process are calculated - the thickness of cutting and cutting force. It is suggested to control C-axe with the purpose of stabilizing of conditions of machining on all of areas of polyhedron.
