Особливості гумористичних прийомів у дипломатичній інтернет-комунікації (на прикладі ікс-повідомлень С. Кислиці)

Abstract

У статті розглядаються особливості використання гумористичних прийомів у дипломатичній інтернет-комунікації, зокрема на прикладі повідомлень постійного представника України при ООН Сергія Кислиці у соціальній мережі Х (Twitter). У дослідженні проаналізовано функціонування гумору в дипломатичному дискурсі через соціальні мережі, зокрема виокремлення його ролі в політичних комунікаціях на тлі російсько- української війни. Особливу увагу приділено типам гумористичних засобів, таким як сарказм, іронія та сатира, які використовуються для підкреслення неприязні до політики Росії та її представників у міжнародних організаціях. Авторами досліджено, як гумор у публікаціях українського політика виступає інструментом критики та дистанціювання від політичних опонентів, а також як це допомагає створити образ агресивного режиму та його прихильників. У статті проаналізовано методи комунікації, що включають як критичні, так і сатиричні елементи, котрі сприяють не лише висміюванню, а й формуванню міжнародного іміджу України в умовах глобальної політики. Дослідження також зосереджено на важливості гумору як стратегії, що дозволяє дипломатам скорочувати традиційну дистанцію в офіційній комунікації, одночасно знижуючи рівень напруженості в політичних дискусіях. Основними результатами роботи є висновки про важливість гумору й певних видів комічного в дипломатичному дискурсі в умовах сучасної політики, зокрема в контексті розширення впливу соціальних мереж. Розглянуто перспективи подальших досліджень, зокрема вивчення лексичних і семантичних характеристик гумору в політичних текстах, а також вивчення прагматичних аспектів використання гумору для досягнення комунікативних цілей політиків.

The article examines the features of humorous techniques in diplomatic internet communication, focusing on the messages of Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, on the social media platform X (Twitter). The aim of the study is to analyse the role of humour in diplomatic discourse through social networks, particularly in the context of its role in political communications during the Russian-Ukrainian war. Special attention is given to types of humorous devices such as sarcasm, irony, and satire, which are used to emphasize hostility towards Russian policies and its representatives in international organizations. The authors explore how humour in the Ukrainian politician's posts serves as a tool for criticism and distancing from political opponents, as well as how it helps create an image of an aggressive regime and its supporters. The article analyses communication methods that include both critical and satirical elements, contributing not only to mockery but also to shaping Ukraine's international image in the context of global politics. The study also focuses on the importance of humour as a strategy that allows diplomats to reduce the traditional distance in official communication while simultaneously lowering the tension in political discussions. The main findings of the study highlight the significance of humour and certain types of comic elements in diplomatic discourse in contemporary politics, particularly in the context of the growing influence of social networks. The paper discusses the prospects for further research, including the study of lexical and semantic characteristics of humour in political texts and the pragmatic aspects of using humour to achieve politicians' communicative goals.
