Abstract |
The paper presents the comparison of the impeller’s construction on the operating
parameters of the sewage pump. Three types of impellers were taken into consideration. The
main geometrical parameters were identical, the differences were applied in the meridional
cross–section and in the shape of the passages. These three objects of research represent three
approaches of the construction of single channel pumps. The analysed impellers were
cooperated with the same spiral casing where the flow was identified by means of numerical
simulation. The obtained results allow to choose appropriate parameters of the pump in terms
of the operating point and shape of the characteristic curves. |
