Abstract This study explores the role of culture in the teaching and learning process among undergraduate students at Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Morocco. It investigates students’ perceptions toward culture as part of language education, the impact of cultural content on their motivation, and the challenges faced in integrating culture effectively into the curriculum. The research employs mixed methods, including questionnaires and interviews to gain comprehensive insights. Findings reveal a positive student perception of culture’s importance, but also highlight gaps in cultural exposure and practical application.
