Abstract	From the linguistic point of view, a contract is a type of a document, because any agreement is a completed document fixing some information. As a type of text, contract has its own specific stylistic and lexical characteristics. З лінгвістичної точки зору контракт є типом документу оскільки будь-яка домовленість надає документально фіксовану інформацію. У статті представлені стилістичні та лексичні особливості перекладу контрактів як типу тексту. С лингвистической точки зрения, контракт - это тип документа, потому что любое соглашение является завершенным документом, фиксирующим некоторую информацию. В качестве типа текста контракт имеет свои специфические стилистические и лексические характеристики.
