В статье рассматривается современный технологический тренд «Баркодинг» как новый коммуникативный канал обмена информацией, коммуникативно-прагматические особенности закодированной буквенной информации, что и представляет лингвистический интерес. В статье также делается попытка проанализировать влияние данного феномена на человека в социуме.
