За даними ВОЗ, захворюваність у різних країнах коливається в межах від 250 до 3000 на 100000 дітей. В Україні щорічно гострими кишковими інфекціями хворіють близько 50000 дітей. Виникнення, особливості перебігу й висхід захворювання значною мірою зумовлені станом імунної системи, яка є запорукою захисту організму дитини від хвороб. Компонент системи комплементу С3 – є важливою частиною захисної системи проти інфекцій і складає близько 70 % всіх білків системи комплементу.Rotavirus infection has a special place among other intestinal diseases. According to WHO, the incidence of this disease in different countries ranges from 250 to 3,000 per 100,000 children. In Ukraine about 50,000 children suffer from acute intestinal infections every year. Contraction of a disease, its run and clinical outcome depend mostly on the immune system of the children, which guarantees protection of the child from disease.
