Adaptation and transformation are considered different processes but can overlap, so transformation includes adaptation to new conditions. But it can be the other way around when the gradual adaptation of socio-economic systems leads to transformation. Adapting modern enterprises to transformational changes requires adjustment (adaptation) of human capital to new business conditions.
