Abstract В результате анализа пространственной и биоценотической структуры природных очагов туляремии в степной зоне Украины установлены основные ландшафтно-экологические их особенности, а также факторы эпизоотийного и эпидемического проявления их активности. The article is devoted to the problem of preservation of bacteria Francisella tularensis in step coastal zone of Ukraine. Now the natural foci is in an extinct condition , excluding island Biruchiy in Kherson region. Key factor decreasing of activity of natural foci is anthropogenic influence to the step landscapes and it biota during second half of XX century. The analysis of materials of ecology-epizootically monitoring of territory and laboratory researches of a field material (1980-1999 ) testifies that the basic carriers of an infection in step area is more then 20 species of mammalian and more then 10 species of ticks. Most common for many foci is Common vole and Brown hare who have involved also a number of other members of natural foci in circulation of the Francisella tularensis. The practical recommendation is to implement ecological and episootological monitoring to collect data for developing practical management of this natural foci’s disease, not only in steppe, but in others natural zones in Ukraine.
