Abstract: The article deals with the expressiveness of blurbs. Closely considered are items of emotional syntax. The article singles out and analyzes the range of syntactical means of expressing emotions in blurbs. Herewith much attention is given to the peculiarities of dominant stylistic techniques used in this type of discourse.
