Abstract	У статті обґрунтовується положення про те, що пізнавальна діяльність у сучасній науці пов’язана з органічною взаємодією теоретичного дослідження (діяльність по удосконаленню понятійного апарату мислення) і емпіричного дослі-дження (діяльність щодо застосування концептуальних засобів до предметів і явищ, що пізнаються). In the article position is grounded that cognitive activity in modern science is related to organic co-operation of theoretical research (activity is on the improvement of concept vehicle of thinking) and empiric research (activity is on application of conceptual facilities to the objects and phenomena which are known). An important mean in the receipt of new knowledge on the basis of theoretical models of reality is a conceivable experiment. On to scientifically empiric levels development of conceivable maintenance is realized on an ascent from concrete to abstract, and at theoretical level of science realized and process of ascent from abstract to concrete in thought.
