    Kasnodon Ukraine: History/Culture/Presumptions and Helping Developing Nations Move Forward

    This article chronicles some of my work in Ukraine in the late 90’s until 2006 especially in the Donbas Region of Ukraine. This was a program funded by USAID through the US-Ukraine Foundation to promote democratic development in cities in Ukraine by establishing partnerships between American cities and Ukrainian cities. The partnership between Birmingham and Krasnodon became a model for the entire program and regular communication continued until the war in Donbas ended communications for most people.

    The Decline Of The Middle Class In Jordan

    Declining economic growth in Jordan, rising unemployment and the abolition of state support for certain segments of the population have led to a deterioration in the welfare of the middle class in Jordanian society. The importance of the middle class for the country is due to the fact that they act as a driving force in creating a market economy, as well as implement creative and intellectual work. The article considers the essential importance of the middle class and its role in building a democratic and legal state, as well as in ensuring a stable pace of economic development. The purpose of this article is to analyze the level of decline in the middle class in Jordanian society during 2010-2017.

    The results of the implementation of EU policy in the field of social protection and social security are multidimensional particularly in the aspects of income and living standards, access to qualitative health care, education and work opportunities. Social integration is an instrument for achievement of these results especially promoting employment and poverty alleviation as well as monitoring the progress made in social protection.

    Bangladesh has been showing tremendous advancement in empowering women in the society although Bangladesh is a male dominated society. Among the total number of entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, above 10% are women. Many women have showed and proved their skills and beat their male counterparts in the small and cottage industries, especially the handicrafts sector; while many audacious entrepreneurs have excelled in Small and Medium Enterprises.

    Compared to the size of the country where a significant increasement with population is visible and moderately small size of the economy employment creation is a challenging task for Bangladesh. Economic activities are persuaded potential working female to participate in entrepreneurial activities. As a matter of fact, Female entrepreneurship is a very recent phenomenon in Bangladesh. Although female is taking to entrepreneurship in many challenging fields, their activities in Bangladesh are not that wide. In spite of fewer opportunities, many females have succeeded in business, but they are still very small in number.

    Using economic-mathematical modeling in the study of the economic component of terrorism

    The article is devoted to the study of the dependence of the level of terrorism on the economic development of the country. The authors selected variables for the detection of dependencies, carried out a grouping on the level of economic development based on cluster analysis, constructed models of the dependence of the level of terrorism on the economic development of the country. The verification of the models for adequacy made it possible to conclude that constructed models can be used to predict the level of terrorism from countries similar to investigated countries in terms of economic development level.
