In the Ukrainian context, national resilience and commemorative practices have played a particularly significant role in fostering a shared sense of identity and unity, especially in light of repeated foreign domination, political upheavals, and armed conflicts.Item Using the case study method in research work with students(Sumy State University, 2024) Набок, Марина Миколаївна; Nabok, Maryna MykolaivnaThe project Strategy for Reforming Higher Education in Ukraine until 2020 envisages the integration of higher education and science by improving the quality of research and innovation activities in higher educational institutions, the introduction of international educational and research projects in Ukraine. It will create an attractive and competitive national educational system of Ukraine integrated into the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area (2014). Recently, on the pages of scientific journals scientists often refer to the general concept of the research work of students during the last years, when in the higher educational institutions of Ukraine continuous pedagogical training was introduced in the combination with special courses and special practice from the first to the fifth courses (Divinska, 2016). However, often such special courses were not a guarantee of a further creative, scientific activity of students. So, it is necessary to introduce innovative ideas and technologies related to the progressive ideas of world pedagogical practice. For example, integration of art into the learning process has been introduced into educational process of the USA for many years already, that allows to develop creativity, creative thinking in students (Margaret-Mary Sulentic, Dowell & Christian Z. Goering, 2018; Alfredo Bautista, Liang See Tan, Letchmi Devi Ponnusamy & Xenia Yau, 2016). Not the «blind» imitation of a foreign should be the basis for introducing a new one into the educational process, but only those teaching methods that mutually complement each other, expand the multicultural space, preserve national and cultural life. These platforms provide flexibility and access to high-quality education regardless of geographical location; 2) Adaptive Learning: Adaptive learning systems use algorithms to personalize the learning experience based on a student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning pace. This technology adjusts the content and pace of instruction to optimize learning outcomes for each individual learner; 3) Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR): VR and AR technologies create immersive learning experiences that engage students in interactive simulations and virtual environments. Куліша до кобзарського мистецтва у різні періоди його життя і творчості не завжди було однозначним, а часом навіть й суперечливим. Цінність зібраних ним матеріалів полягає в тому, що вони містять багатий фактичний матеріал для вивчення питань, пов’язаних зі світоглядом та психологією творчості кобзарів та лірників, впливу їх на становлення і розвиток фольклору, літератури, мистецтва. П. Куліш глибоко усвідомлював виняткову роль кобзарів та лірників у духовному житті народу, у формуванні його національної свідомості. Але в процесі творчих пошуків до розв’язання проблем національного буття, письменник у своїх художніх творах нерідко давав різко негативні оцінки суспільно-політичній ролі кобзарства.Item Life values and ideals of Ukrainians and Europeans: comparative analysis(Sumy State University, 2024) Набок, Марина Миколаївна; Nabok, Maryna Mykolaivna; Kansas, Serghini-IdrissiEuropean values and Ukrainian values share many commonalities, but there are also distinct nuances that reflect each society's unique history, culture, and spirations. Here's a brief overview. European Values: Democracy and Rule of Law: European societies value democratic governance, rule of law, and respect for human rights as foundational principles. Human Rights: Respect for individual freedoms, equality, and dignity is paramount. This includes freedom of speech, religion, and assembly. Multiculturalism: Europe celebrates diversity and multiculturalism, embracing various ethnicities, languages, and cultures within its borders. Solidarity: Many European nations value social solidarity, supporting welfare systems that provide for the needs of all citizens, including healthcare, education, and social services. Environmental Sustainability: Concern for the environment and sustainability is increasingly important in European values, with efforts to address climate change and promote green technologies. In Europe, there are many organizations that protect human values. In particular, «The European Values think tank is a non» – governmental policy institute defending liberal democracy. They help to face aggressive regimes, radicalisation within the society, the spread of authoritarian tendencies and extremist ideologies including Islamism [3]. Ukrainian Values: National Identity: Ukrainian values often revolve around a strong sense of national identity, rooted in a long history of struggle for independence and cultural heritage. Freedom and Independence: Ukrainians highly value freedom and independence, especially given their history of Soviet rule and more recent conflicts with Russia. Family and Community: Family bonds and community ties are significant in Ukrainian culture, with importance placed on familial support networks and communal traditions. Patriotism: Love for one's country and patriotism are prominent Ukrainian values, particularly in the context of recent geopolitical tensions and efforts to assert national sovereignty. Resilience and Determination: Ukrainians have demonstrated resilience and determination in the face of challenges, including political upheaval, economic hardships, and ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine.Item Peculiarities of intercultural dialogue between different representatives of people in the world(Sumy State University, 2023) Набок, Марина Миколаївна; Набок, Марина Николаевна; Nabok, Maryna Mykolaivna; Akshar, S.Codes of culture correlate with the ancient ideas of a person and form a coordinate system that contains and reproduces standards of culture, traditions, customs, behavior and the whole life of a certain national-ethnic society. They are unique markers of consciousness and subconsciousness, by which they recognize belonging to a certain culture, identify it. One listening to the song is enough to guess which people – Eastern or Western, Southern or Northern – it belongs to. Without special education, it is possible to determine the belonging of peoples to general types of cultures – European, Eastern, Asian, African, based on their national clothes. Within the European Union’s documents, «intercultural dialogue is most often mentioned in the Commission’s communication entitled Multilingualism: an Asset for Europe and a Shared Commitment» [2, р. 39]. Language, which is the main component of communication, can also be considered as a self-sufficient cultural system, which led to the emergence of a separate science – linguculturalology, which studies the interaction of culture and language, summarizes all possible ways of preserving and transmitting information about the culture of the people with the help of language. The cultural code covers the entire range of material manifestations of the life and culture of peoples: artifacts, architecture, nationally determined symbols, music, songs, dances, rituals, folk customs, national cuisine, as well as various forms of leisure, relationships in the family and with friends, even the semantics of colors, smells and sounds with which the life of the nation is saturated. It is implemented in a cultural context. Cultural traditions are unshakable, therefore, during intercultural interaction, it is necessary to tolerantly perceive the peculiarities of life, art, beliefs, and traditions of other peoples.Item The formation of European values(Sumy State University, 2023) Набок, Марина Миколаївна; Набок, Марина Николаевна; Nabok, Maryna Mykolaivna; Reshma, S.We use the word ‘values’ to describe those beliefs or ideal mental images used to maintain social customs or habits of interest to us or to introduce new ones. If some habits or customs have become obsolete, the values that surrounded and sustained them will also fade away. This could happen in Europe’s future. Today, the works of M. Nabok and other scientists are devoted to this issue. Values tend to be studied on the small or medium scale, no more. Analyzing them on a continental or planetary scale is not free from imprecision or even error. To do so, we need to be reminded, first of all, of a few key features of the history of the concept of Europe and to see whether we have any basis (more than merely speculative, at least) for talking about inherently ‘European’ values.Item Національна стійкість в духовному просторі міжкультурного діалогу(Вища школа управління і адміністрації. У філософії поняття «духовність» завжди відігравало чи не найпершу роль у ключових питаннях призначення людини, ролі, суті її буття. Адже духовне життя збагачувалося в процесі освоєння людиною навколишнього світу через мову, традиції, виховання, добро, красу, гармонію, а не через тілесні насолоди. Прагматичні, побутові складові поєднувалися з естетичними й були засновані не на злі, ненависті, а на щирості, ніжному, гармонійному поєднанні людини з навколишнім світом. У природі людина шукала співзвучне своєму внутрішньому прагненню, своїм настроям. Це формувало своєрідний «генетичний код», що обумовлювався особливостями світосприйняття і світорозуміння кожного окремого народу, народним світоглядом, що містить явища як естетичного, так і психологічного, соціального, філософського, національного характеру, мовою, яка є не лише інструментом спілкування між людьми, але й формує світогляд.Item Поняття "своє – чуже" в системі етнокультурних цінностей (на основі відгуків іноземних студентів)(Сумський державний університет, 2022) Набок, Марина Миколаївна; Набок, Марина Николаевна; Nabok, Maryna MykolaivnaДосліджували це питання М. Костомаров, П. Куліш, М. Драгоманов, І. Франко, на сучасному етапі – В. Топоров, Л. Дунаєвська, М. Наєнко, С. Козак, М. Гримич, Е. Касперський та ін. Зокрема, вчені говорили про особливе значення понять "своє" і "чуже" у міфологічній свідомості, де "чуже" визначалося як відмінне, не схоже на "своє", а поняття "своє" встановлювалось через відчуття взаємототожності, взаємозалежності різних людей до широкої спільноти. Відтак, способом розпізнання "чужої" людини у міфологічній свідомості стає ототожнення її з певним міфічним персонажем. З розвитком людської свідомості це поняття набуло ширшого значення. Поняття "своє – чуже" за А. Швецовою, має таку структуру: контактність, спільність уявлень, спільність реакцій, комплекс національної відрази" [8, с. 107]. Саме в цій структурі як складові характеру знаходять свій вияв честь, мудрість, шляхетність, мужність, свобода, почуття родинного обов’язку, відношення до землі, утверджуючи духовну й мілітарну стійкість особистості. На кафедрі мовної підготовки іноземних громадян Сумського державного університету, ми ознайомлюємо іноземних студентів з країн Африки, Близького Сходу з українськими народними думами та піснями, здійснюємо порівняльну характеристику з їх народною творчістю. Відтак, поняття "своє–чуже" ми розглядаємо на матеріалі української народної думи "Маруся Богуславка". У процесі такого ознайомлення відбувається взаємообмін національними культурними цінностями, з’ясовуються психологічні особливості народу, природа національного характеру, основи суспільного та особистісного ідеалу, що є важливими складовими у розумінні прикметних рис характеру кожного окремого народу. Таким чином, поняття "своє–чуже" в системі етнокультурних цінностей посідає чільне місце у розкритті міжетнічних світоглядних зв’язків, а це дає можливість у багатокультурному мовному середовищі краще зрозуміти один одного та входити в життя сучасного світу на своїх питомо національних духовних підставах.Item Use of Google services for organization of distance learning in Ukrainian as a foreign language(International Science Group, 2022) Зайцева, Станіслава Станіславівна; Зайцева, Станислава Станиславовна; Zaitseva, Stanislava Stanislavivna; Набок, Марина Миколаївна; Набок, Марина Николаевна; Nabok, Maryna MykolaivnaНа заняттях з української мови як іноземної важливо забезпечувати формування у студентів навичок чотирьох видів мовленнєвої діяльності: читання, говоріння, письма й аудіювання. Відповідно навчальним матеріалом й інструментом для забезпечення навичок слугують тексти, робочі зошити, відеоматеріали, аудіофайли із, наприклад, новими словами, короткі аудіофайли із домашнім читанням текстів, фото із письмовими вправами, онлайн-дошки тощо. Таким чином існує нагальна потреба у збереженні й обміну цими файлами між викладачем і студентами. Найпопулярнішим способом залишається використання електронної пошти, мобільних додатків. Проте, під час дистанційного навчання можуть виникнути питання через різницю у часі між країнами студентів-іноземців та викладачем з України.
