Item The potential of organic waste as a substrate for anaerobic digestion in Ukraine: trend definitions and environmental safety of the practices(Lviv Polytechnic National University, 2021) Черниш, Єлізавета Юріївна; Chernysh, Yelyzaveta Yuriivna; Shtepa, V.; Рой, Ігор Олександрович; Roi, Ihor Oleksandrovych; Чубур, Вікторія Сергіївна; Chubur, Viktoriia Serhiivna; Скворцова, Поліна Олексіївна; Skvortsova, Polina Oleksiivna; Ivlieva, A.; Danilov, D.This article is devoted to the analysis and prospects of using different types of organic waste to achieve environmental goals. Due to the unique climate and natural resources, Ukraine has significant potential for biomass, the processing of which should solve urgent problems with the disposal of waste, as well as the production of alternative energy sources and biofertilizers. The preferred substrates for anaerobic digestion in Ukraine, considering the technological feasibility, availability, and volume are animal manure (cattle, pigs), bird droppings, plant residues, industrial sludge, common sludges. After analyzing the statistics for 2015-2019, the groups of dominant wastes were identified, and with the help of the built-in function "TREND," the forecast of the waste potential with an organic component for 2021-2026 was constructed. Examining the obtained indicators for different types of waste, the reasons for the tendency of decrease or increase in their formation in the next five years were revealed. The direction of enhancing the sustainability of bioenergy, achieving environmental goals through the bioprocessing of organic waste associated with the ecological safety of production processes were discussed.Item Polymer materials: bibliographic data analysis and trend detection(National Society of Enviromental Science and Engineeruing, 2021) Черниш, Єлізавета Юріївна; Черныш, Елизавета Юрьевна; Chernysh, Yelyzaveta Yuriivna; Balintova, M.; Рой, Ігор Олександрович; Рой, Игорь Александрович; Roi, Ihor Oleksandrovych; Demcak, S.Alternatives to waste management methods include the reorganization, recycling, and creation of environmentally friendly biodegradable polymer materials based on renewable resources, plant, and textile waste. The goal of this study is to analyze bibliographic data and identify trends in research on polymer materials of different genesis, with particular attention to research on the production and use of biopolymers. VOSviewer v.1.6.15 is used to present the analysis results. Environmental impact areas in the life cycle of traditional polymers have been analyzed. The network of main bioplastics clusters is visualized within the framework of modeling the dependencies on the main keywords in the analysis of the dynamics of publication activity, the main trends in the development of new biodegradable materials are revealed. A comparative review of the environmental impact of different types of bioplastics is made by the life cycle assessment method. Yakhnenko, Olena MykolaivnaThe main problem of widespread introduction of magnetic water treatment (MWT) in the processes of water and wastewater treatment is the lack of modern research aimed at studying the mechanisms of MWT effects, in particular the influence on the physicochemical properties of aqueous solutions. This study explains the effect of MWT taking into account the physical and chemical properties of aqueous solutions due to the presence of the quantum differences in water molecules. All the MWT effects are related to the change in the physicochemical properties of aqueous solutions. It is due to the presence of two types of water molecule isomers and their librational oscillations. The result of MWT is a violation of the synchronism of para-isomers vibrations, with the subsequent destruction of ice-like structures due to the receiving of energy from collisions with other water molecules (ortho-isomers). One of the most important MWT effects includes the change in the nature and speed of the physicochemical processes in aqueous solutions by increasing the number of more physically and chemically active ortho-isomers. The MWT parameters specified in the work allow explaining the nature of most MWT effects and require developing the scientific and methodological principles for the implementation of the MWT process and mathematical modeling of the MWT process in the water and wastewater treatment. It can be used in the design of the MWT devices taking into account the constructive and mode parameters of MWT devices.
