Determinants of labor productivity in the USA
(LLC “Consulting Publishing Company “Business Perspectives”, 2023) Kuzior, A.; Койбічук, Віталія Василівна; Koibichuk, Vitaliia Vasylivna; Дрозд, Сергій Анатолійович; Drozd, Serhii Anatoliiovych; Grytsyshen, D.; Васильєва, Тетяна Анатоліївна; Vasylieva, Tetiana Anatoliivna

Accounting support for sustainability reporting: theoretical foundations and bibliometric analysis
Vynnychenko, Nataliia Volodymyrivna; Ballova, M.; Gedeon, M.
The purpose of this study is to substantiate the theoretical provisions on the accounting support for sustainability reporting and develop practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms for generating fragments of non-financial reporting based on accounting data. The study is conducted on the example of Ukraine. The paper provides a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications on the reporting in the field of sustainable development. Generalizing the results of the content-context block of the bibliometric analysis allowed identifying seven clusters. In the context of the study, the most relevant is the fourth cluster, which reflects the relationship between sustainability reporting and accounting. To create an effective mechanism for building sustainability reporting, a five-step sequence of actions based on accounting data was proposed, and tables were created to simplify the search for the necessary information to fill out fragments of a sustainability report and assess social and environmental security based on accounting data.

(LLC “Consulting Publishing Company “Business Perspectives”, 2022) Kuzior, A.; Жученко, Світлана Василівна; Жученко, Светлана Васильевна; Zhuchenko, Svitlana Vasylivna; Самойлікова, Анастасiя Вiкторiвна; Самойликова, Анастасия Викторовна; Samoilikova, Anastasiia Viktorivna; Васильєва, Тетяна Анатоліївна; Васильева, Татьяна Анатольевна; Vasylieva, Tetiana Anatoliivna; Brożek, P.

(MDPI, 2022) Kuzior, A.; Krawczyk, D.; Brożek, P.; Lieonov, Serhii Viacheslavovych
The development of digital technologies is one of the factors influencing the cities’ readiness for the COVID-19 breakout. The purpose of this article is to assess cities’ resilience to the COVID-19 pandemic depending on the “smart” level criteria. The article uses the following research methods: (1) bibliometric analysis to identify the main directions of scientific research regarding “COVID-19” and “smart city” in Scopus publications for 2019–2022; (2) k-means clustering method to identify common patterns among smart cities regarding their readiness and responsiveness to COVID-19; (3) correlation analysis to identify the relationships between smart city performance indicators and COVID-19 severity in these cities. The Smart City Index 2021 was a key criterion for classifying a city as smart for this study. The correlation analysis included two stages: (1) correlation analysis of the Smart City Rank and indicators of COVID-19 readiness and responsiveness; (2) correlation analysis of the Smart City Rank and its health care components and COVID-19 severity indicators. According to the study results, smart cities demonstrated higher COVID-19 readiness and lower COVID-19 fatality rates. However, they lag behind in terms of resilience and sustainability of their health care systems.

Influence of monetary policy instruments and indicators on dynamics of financing innovation: empirical evidence
(Limited Liability Company “FINTECHALLIANCE”, 2022) Belgibayeva, A.; Самойлікова, Анастасiя Вiкторiвна; Самойликова, Анастасия Викторовна; Samoilikova, Anastasiia Viktorivna; Васильєва, Тетяна Анатоліївна; Васильева, Татьяна Анатольевна; Vasylieva, Tetiana Anatoliivna; Лєонов, Сергій Вячеславович; Леонов, Сергей Вячеславович; Lieonov, Serhii Viacheslavovych
Today innovations are drivers of countries’ economic growth, competitiveness, security, and sustainable development. Financial policy and its instruments play a significant role in innovation management, and monetary instruments are one of the most important components of financial policy. Therefore, the necessity of increasing the efficiency of financial support for innovation development actualizes the study of the impact of the monetary policy instruments and indicators on the level of financing innovation. The aim of the article is to improve the scientific basis for the study of the impact of monetary policy instruments and indicators on the dynamics of financing innovation based on empirical evidence. Information basis of the research was formed from the data for Ukraine and 12 post-soviet and other countries with similar starting economic conditions for 2010-2019, taking into account the availability of statistics from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the central banks for the whole investigated indicators at the time of the study. The software base included Excel and STATA. The methods of regression (linear regression model with panel-corrected standard errors) and correlation analysis (calculating Pearson and Spearman coefficients) were applied to identify a relationship between monetary instruments and indicators and indicator of financing innovation, confirm the hypothesis about the impact of the monetary instruments and indicators on the financing innovation and formalize this effect. To strengthen the country’s innovation development, it is proved the expediency of lowering the discount rate and real interest rate, increasing “broad money” on general reserves, and increasing liquid reserves on bank assets, as well as the transition to inflation targeting. According to the calculations, for all monetary instruments and indicators, except the discount rate, the directions of influence in Ukraine and the panel from 12 other countries were opposite. This one confirms that monetary instruments in Ukraine are not fully performing their regulatory function, in the context of stimulating innovation development.

The influence of the financial inclusion of the population on the level of illegally income in countries with different levels of economic development
Vasylieva, Tetiana Anatoliivna; Osadcha, O.; Shymanska, K.
The importance of understanding why and how vital financial inclusion is, recognizing that finance or financial development plays an essential role in shaping economic stability. According to the current international assessment, finance has a positive impact on the economy. Essential functions perform information production; distribution of capital for production use; investment control and сorporate control; mobilization and consolidation of savings; trade facilitation, diversification, risk management; and facilitating the exchange of goods and services. Thus, we can determine that the country’s financial development depends on the implementation of the above functions. For regulators and the state as a whole, financial inclusion is a tool to reduce the level of the «shadow» economy, through which there is money laundering, tax evasion, and so on. It is important to note that low levels of financial inclusion are mainly a problem in the economies of developing countries, although developed countries also face such challenges. Thе article sets and substantiates the impact of financial inclusion of the population on the level of illegally obtained income of countries with different levels of economic development. The study is conducted in several stages: the formation of an array of indicators that characterize the financial inclusion of the population and the level of illicit income for 91 countries with different levels of economic development, determination of the integrated index of financial inclusion based on factor analysis, correlation and regression аnalysis of the Financial Inclusion Index and its components and the Basel Laundering Index. In general, it was found that the level of financial involvement of the population has a positive effect on the fight against money laundering in all countries studied. The construction of multiple regression with the inclusion as independent variable components of the financial inclusion index (activation of consumers in the financial services market, which is manifested through more active use of banking services and Internet resources to buy and pay for necessary goods or services, allows money laundering) confirm the result.

Even now, in the times of advanced digitization, the planning and implementation of many organizational meas-ures remain human-driven. Corresponding to a global trend of application of artificial intelligence in all areas of life, it has received more attention in the last few years and garnered emerging clusters of research in usage of this technology for organizational issues. Some companies already offer tools that support different management tasks in the area of organiza-tional development, but they are not holistic. According to the Google trend analysis of the search for artificial intelligence, the inquiry to this topic continues increasing. The purpose of the described investigation was to identify the academic trends in research interaction between such sci-entific fields, as Artificial Intelligence, Organizational Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Change, and Organizational Culture using bibliometric and network publication analysis. In order to achieve this purpose, we sys-tematically analysed 191 publications between 1983 and 2020 as well as cited and citing publications. The findings of this study provide important conclusions of the current research state. The insightful results are presented in the form of critical review and frame the body of knowledge.

Energy Consumption in Assessment of Shadow Economy
(Academy of Economic Studies, 2021) Sedmíkova, E.; Karpenko, Inna Volodymyrivna; Navickas, M.
The article deals with study of the relationship between energy consumption and the level of the shadow economy. Based on the comparison of average rates of renewable energy consumption and the shadow economy per capita of EU countries and Ukraine for the period 2005–2016, the authors distinguish clusters of countries by the nature and direction of the relationship between the analyzed indices. The study of these relationships is based on the linear relationship concept between the shadow economy and energy consumption. The EU countries and Ukraine are identified as the statistical base of the study and the assessment period is 2005–2016. The results confirm the hypothesis of the shadow economic activity impact on energy consumption and prove their dependence on the scientific and technological progress in the country. All indices are statistically significant at the level of 1% and 5% and 10% respectively. This research let the authors conclude that it is necessary to take into account the energy consumption volumes in the process of estimating the shadow economy under the influence of innovative technologies and processes. Empirical calculations have proved the high level of the shadow economy in the vast majority of European Union countries, the average value of which is 22%.

Convergence trends in the “economy ‒ education ‒ digitalization ‒ national security” chain
Vasylieva, Tetiana Anatoliivna
Purpose. To identify the current level and trends of convergence to justify the directions of adjustment of approaches to the management of the national economy. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study is economic and mathematical modelling using Barro-regression and variational analysis. Integral indicators for the characteristics of the components of the studied chain are defi ned as the arithmetic mean of partial indicators of economic development (24 indicators), educational development (28 indicators), digitalization (12 indicators) and national security (53 indicators), normalized by the method of natural normalization. To assess the pairwise, triple and complex convergent relationships in the studied chain, a multiplicative convolution of the corresponding integral indicators characterizing a pair, triple or four of the studied concepts, was performed. The sample consisted of 11 countries from Central and Eastern Europe (Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine). The research period includes 1999–2020. Findings. The existence of dynamic convergent links in the “national security – digitalization”, “education – national security – digitalization” chains is confirmed, which indicates the need for further interstate integration of regulatory practices in the field of digitalization impact on the national security (including digital education effects). The links in the “economy – education”, “economy – national security”, “education – national security”, “economy – education – national security” chains have a fairly high static level of convergence, which indicates the need to level the differences in national practices of regulation of these directions. At the same time, current trends in the digitalization of education and the digitalization of the economy remain quite diversified, which determines the need to apply specific national government practices in this area. Originality. Methodological principles of integrated assessment of convergent relationships in the “economy – education – national security – digitalization” chain differ from the existing ones by using integrated indicators of characteristics of single, pair, triple and complex relationships within the studied chain to determine the levels of their σ- and β-convergence. This allowed identifying the presence of the achieved level of convergence and dynamic convergent trends that arise in the process of economic and educational transformations in the context of overcoming security challenges in the national economy in the context of digitalization. Practical value. The achieved signify cant level of convergence of the economy, education and digitalization of the studied countries has been revealed, as well as stable convergent links of integrated development of their economy, education and national security have been formed. The results obtained can be used as a scientific substantiation of adjustment of directions of state regulation of economy and education in the conditions of digitalization and in the context of overcoming security challenges.
