Assessment and forecasting of Ukraine’s financial security: Choice of alternatives
Zhuravka, Fedir Oleksandrovych; Nebaba, N.; Levkovych, O.; Chorna, S.
Financial security of a country is an integral part of its economic security and the basis of national security. The paper aims to assess and forecast the level of Ukraine’s financial security using two methodological approaches (the existing one and the authors’ elaboration) to choose the best alternative. The first one is based on the Methodology of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. The alternative one has been developed as a multiplicative model of non-linear convolution of relevant direct and indirect impact indicators, considering the opportunity and risk, which is based on a combination of a power function and the Harrington method. A database of input indicators was formed with further differentiation according to their impact on Ukraine’s financial security. The research results demonstrated that during 2013–2019 Ukraine’s financial security integrated index was cyclical and constantly changing. A comparison of the existing methodology and the developed model demonstrated a certain discrepancy between the obtained results. It was substantiated that the proposed multiplicative non-linear convolution model for assessing and forecasting the state’s financial security is more relevant, includes current indicators sorted by their direct and indirect impact, and adjusts them according to the risk of impact on overall security in the country.

Assessment of cardiovascular risk in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus and associated obesity and ways of its correction
    (Aluna Publishing, 2021) Griadil, T.I.; Chopey, I.V.; Chubirko, K.I.; Hechko, M.M.; Rumaneh, W.
The aim: To analyze and calculate CVR in patients with T2DM and concomitant obesity. Materials and methods: The selection of patients was carried out based on the Uzhhorod District Clinical Hospital, in the period from November 2016 to January 2020. All patients were divided into 3 groups: 1 (n=93) with T2DM and concomitant obesity, 2 (n=87) with T2DM, 3 (n=39) with obesity. The treatment period lasted 1 year and included dosed exercise for at least 30 minutes per day and dietary recommendations. Patients in groups 1 and 2 received metformin 850 mg twice daily in combination with dapagliflozin 10 mg once daily. CVR was determined at the time of enrollment and after 1 year of treatment using: American College of Cardiology / American Heart Association Guideline on the Assessment of Cardiovascular Risk (2013) (ASCVD Risk) and Framingham Risk Score (FRS). Results: The data obtained as a result of the study revealed the highest CVR in patients of group 1, in contrast to group 2 and 3 (p<0.05). After 1 year of complex treatment, CVR indicators were statistically significantly reduced in all experimental groups (p<0.05). Conclusions: Determining CVR parameters and exposure to them within 10 years can remove unwanted cardiovascular complications.

The Factorial-Reflexive Approach to Diagnosing the Executors’ and Contractors’ Attitude to Achieving the Objectives by Energy Supplying Companies
(MDPI, 2021) Kuzior, A.; Квілінський, Олексій Станіславович; Квилинский, Алексей Станиславович; Kwilinski, Aleksy; Hroznyi, I.
The article aims to enhance understanding of how relations, behavior and attitude of the executives and contractors to achieving the objectives by energy supplying companies affect the efficiency of the latter’s overall development. There is offered a factor-reflexive approach to diagnosing the executives’ and contractors’ attitude to realizing the tasks of developing the energy supplying companies. This approach includes models to identify and analyze the factors that influenced the change in contractors’ behavior based on the combination of expert techniques, correlation and regression analysis and evaluation of the personnel response to organizational, resource and staffing projects development, through accumulating sufficient statistical information based on the enterprise’s features, relations and environment. This approach to diagnosing executives’ and contractors’ response to the implementation of tasks and the resulting changes takes into account the subjective component of their response. Practical implementation of this approach in monitoring the conformity of the development tasks has proven the ability to identify problems from the viewpoint of the task executives.

Condition Monitoring of Kaplan Turbine Bearings Using Vibro-diagnostics
(Universities and research institytions in India, 2020) Monkova, K.; Monka, P.P.; Hric, S.; Kozak, D.; Katinić, M.; Павленко, Іван Володимирович; Павленко, Иван Владимирович; Pavlenko, Ivan Volodymyrovych; Ляпощенко, Олександр Олександрович; Ляпощенко, Александр Александрович; Liaposhchenko, Oleksandr Oleksandrovych
Vibration diagnostics is an indispensable method to evaluate the technical condition of machinery. If the conditions of machines are regularly monitored, the problems can be corrected even before they arise. The most often overloaded components of the turbine are bearings that similarly like other machinery are subject to degradation wear. The article deals with the bearings´ condition of the Kaplan turbine. Within the research, the frequencies at which maximum accelerations were achieved and their impact on plant operation were observed. Time records were converted to the frequency domain by means of Fast Fourier Transformation and the records were processed by means of filters. Acceleration peaks have determined the frequencies responsible for the outer and inner ring damages, but based on an evaluation of the operating state of the bearing using Root Mean Square (RMS) values could be concluded that that damage to any part of the bearing is not demonstrable and the turbine is operability.

    Machinery vibration diagnostics
(Сумський державний університет, 2013) Udovychenko, N.M.
Vibration is a process that can not be measured, unlike its parameters. The machine can have high levels of vibration for three reasons: – there is a strong source of vibration inside the machine; – during spreading between source of vibration and the point of observation, vibration weakly damped or even increases due to good conductivity and transparency of the surrounding structures; – there are two previous reasons simultaneously. For solving the first problem we have to explore the physical nature of vibration inside the machine. For solving the second problem it's necessary to investigate the spread of vibrations out of the construction.
