Item Magnetite-polymer Nanoparticles: Structure and Properties(Sumy State University, 2015) Stanislavov, A.S.; Sukhodub, L.B.; Kuznetsov, V.N.; Суходуб, Леонід Федорович; Суходуб, Леонид Федорович; Sukhodub, Leonid FedorovychThe paper describes synthesis of magnetite-alginate composites. The main feature of such biomaterials is the simultaneous formation of magnetite nanoparticles inside the alginate matrix. Obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. In several samples the secondary phase of ammonium chloride was observed. The average crystallite sizes of magnetite phase are about 13 nm. The addition of alginate leads to the decrease of microstrains in [h k 0] direction.Item The Study of the Alginate / Hydroxyapatite Composites Structural Properties(Sumy State University, 2014) Суходуб, Леонід Федорович; Суходуб, Леонид Федорович; Sukhodub, Leonid Fedorovych; Kuznetsov, V.N.; Sukhodub, L.B.This paper describes the synthesis of sodium alginate (Alg) / hydroxyapatite (HA) composites and the influence of the presence of Alg on HA crystallization. Such composites become rather widespread in recent years, and are used in medicine generally for the controlled drug delivery [1‑3]. In one’s case, Alg is used as the functional and cost-effective replacement of the collagen for the creation of implants similar to the natural bone [4]. It was shown that the presence of Alg and the increase of its concentration leads to the decrease of the HA crystallinity thus providing an ability to control its levels in the resulting product. The FTIR studies confirm the incorporation of Alg in the Alg / HA composite structure.Item Alginate-hydroxyapatite Beads for Medical Application(Sumy State University, 2014) Stanislavov, A.; Sukhodub, L.B.; Yanovska, A.A.; Суходуб, Леонід Федорович; Суходуб, Леонид Федорович; Sukhodub, Leonid Fedorovych; Kuznetzov, V.N.The paper describes the synthesis and characterization of alginate-hydroxyapatite (Alg/HA) beads that potentially can be used for drug release due to the adsorptive properties of HA and transmission ability of the soluble compounds through the alginate membrane. Calcium Alg/HA beads were manufactured by dropping of the Alg/HA suspension into CaCl2 solution. Morphology and phase composition of obtained Alg/HA beads were investigated. It was shown that alginate macromolecules influence the hydroxyapatite size and morphology. Obtained HA with crystal size 15-30 nm inside alginate beads correspond a bioapatite size therefore are interesting for the tissue engineering. The main features of alginate-controlled crystallization are discussed in order to understand some aspects in composite material design. Insertion of HA into the alginate microcapsules allows use such materials for production of drug release microspheres.Item The Influence of Ultrasound and Ultraviolet Irradiation on the Nanocomposite Calcium Phosphate-Polymeric Gel(Sumy State University, 2013) Musskaya, O.N.; Kulak, A.I.; Krutsko, V.K.; Ulasevich, S.A.; Lesnikovich, L.A.; Суходуб, Леонід Федорович; Суходуб, Леонид Федорович; Sukhodub, Leonid FedorovychAn influence of high-intensive ultrasound and ultraviolet (UV) irradiation on the nanocomposite calcium phosphate-polymeric gels has been investigated. The action of UV light leads to a significant increase in shear stress and viscosity of hydroxyapatite (HA) / polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) gel while HA / sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (Na-CMC) gel is insensitive to the UV action. Ultrasonic treatment of HA / PVA gel plays an important role only at small shear rates. UV treatment of HA / Na-CMC gel has no effect on its structure and can be used for low temperature UV sterilization. Two different configurations of the magnetic field were used. The flasks with the precipitates were placed near the different poles. It was shown that changing the magnetic field configuration and positioning the samples in proximity to north or south poles can greatly affect their crystallinity and texture with most of them having the preferred orientation along the b-axis according to the X-Ray diffraction data. The imposition of the magnetic field also influences the microstrain ratio decreasing it significantly. It was also verified [1] that the Mg substrate availability decreases the crystallinity of DCPD. The micrographs of the nanoparticles with the different magnifications were obtained by the transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The comparative analysis of the electron microscopy data correlates with the XRD data. From the received data it was revealed that growth inhibition and size stabilization of Fe3O4 nanoparticles were strongly affected by polysaccharide matrix. It was also observed that directional size decrease of Fe3O4 nanoparticles was accompanied by the increasing defectiveness of crystal lattice and decreasing unit cell size. The effectiveness of complementary use of both TEM with electronic diffraction and XRD techniques for structural and substructural parameters determination while studying magnetite nanosized particles synthesized in polysaccharide matrices is shown in this paper. The present work is devoted to the study of magnetite (Fe3O4) formation inside the nanoreactors of (co)polymeric gels (hydrogels and mi-crogels) based on the derivatives of acrylic acid: N-isopropylacrylamide, acrylamide, and N,N-methylenbisacrylamide (crosslinking agent). Influence of hydrophilic–lipophilic balance of (co)polymeric templates, temperature, pH and concentration of iron cations on the magnetite formation inside polymeric matrixes were investigated along with the development of ferrogel preparation technique. Physical and chemical properties of obtained ferrogels have been studied with gravimetric analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, optical and transmission microscopies, IR spec-troscopy, etc. When you are citing the document, use the following link http://essuir.sumdu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/35445Item Functional Coatings Based on Hydroxyapatite and Polymers Formed on Ti-6Al-4V Substrates(Sumy State University, 2013) Yanovska, G.O.; Kuznetsov, V.M.; Stanislavov, O.S.; Суходуб, Леонід Федорович; Суходуб, Леонид Федорович; Sukhodub, Leonid FedorovychThe paper describes perspective technology for deposition of inorganic-organic coatings used for biomedical application. Synthetic hydroxyapatite was used as inorganic compound, due to the similarity of the main component to bone tissue. As organic components we used chitosan and alginate – natural biopolymers, which widely used for bioactive and biocompatible composites formation. Thermal substrate method used for coatings deposition based on principle of decreasing solubility of hydroxyapatite with increasing of substrate temperature and allow to deposit coatings at substrate temperatures below 100 °C. Porous composite hydroxyapatite-chitosan and hydroxyapatite-alginate coatings were obtained on Ti-6Al-4V substrates. Morphology, phase composition and adhesion to the substrate surface were investigated. When you are citing the document, use the following link http://essuir.sumdu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/35297
