Item Diffraction of a magnetoelastic wave on stress concentrators in conducting bodies (antiplanar deformation)(Springer, 1995) Фильштинський, Леонід Аншелович; Фильштинский, Леонид Аншелович; Fylshtynskyi, Leonid Anshelovych; Фоменко, Людмила Іванівна; Фоменко, Людмила Ивановна; Fomenko, Liudmyla IvanivnaWe consider a two-dimensional boundary-value problem of magnetoelasticity for a half-space weakened by tunnel stress concentrators (cracks, holes) in the presence of a static magnetic field. The mechanical stimulus is taken as a magnetoelastic shear wave incident from infinity or a shear load that varies harmonically in time and is prescribed on the edges of the crack or hole. The problem reduces to a singular integral equation that can be solved numerically by the method of mechanical quadratures. We give the results of computation of the coefficient of stress intensity K111 for a slit and the stress concentration on the edge of a hole. We conclude that it is necessary to take account of electromagnetic effects in estimating the strength of diamagnetic or paramagnetic bodies. Four figures. Bibliography: 6 titles. I.We study the interaction of a magnetoelastic shear wave with a curvilinear tunnel crack in an ideally conducting diamagnetic (resp. paramagnetic) one-sided (resp. two-sided) layer in the presence of an external static magnetic field. The bases of the one-sided layer are free of mechanical load, and the rim of the face is clamped or free. The corresponding linearized boundary-value problem of magnetoelasticity is reduced to a singular integrodifferential equation with subsequent implementation on a computer. We give numerical results that characterize the influence of the size of the preliminary magnetic field, the frequencies of the load, the curvature, and the orientation of the crack on the stress intensity factor. The kinetics of a liquid-glass transition is described by the equations coinciding formally with the synergetic Lorenz system where the strain acts as the order parameter, the conjugate field is reduced to the elastic stress, and the temperature is as the control parameter. Using the adiabatic approximation we find the steady-state values of these quantities and the effective relaxation time. Taking into account the strain defect of the shear modulus we show that the process of a liquid-glass transition is realized according to the mechanism of a first-order transition. The critical rate of the cooling turns out proportional to the thermometric conductivity and the nonrelaxed shear modulus value as well as inversely proportional to the temperature defect of the relaxed modulus and the square of the heat conductivity distance of a sample. Regular (including Fibonacci), degenerate and irregular trees are considered. It is shown that the strength of hierarchical coupling is an exponentially, logarithmically or power low decreasing function of distance from a common ancestor, respectively. Some chemical composition, which non- equilibrium in bulk samples, was to passing for polymorphic modifications (see, for example, [1]). They may be formed under influence of the size thermodynamic effects (the change of the phase equilibrium conditions). The further investigations show, what such non- equilibrium phases formed at the thermal annealing of the films samples in vacuum chamber or an electron beam directly in a microscope (the size of the one affected by an electron beam - 15 un) in result of the interaction of the metal atoms with the atoms of residual gases. The experimental results of the investigations of the chemical transition in films with bcс (Cr,V, Mo), fcc (Ni, Co) and hcp (Co, Sc, Y) lattice have been presented in the work.
