The impact of the level of financial inclusion on Ukraine`s economic growth and its financial security

Abstract

Забезпечення фінансової безпеки на всіх рівнях влади є актуальним питанням для багатьох країн, у тому числі для України. Фінансова безпека – це динамічний процес фінансових відносин, під час якого створюється сприятливе середовище для економічного зростання та необхідні ресурси для вдосконалення існуючої фінансової системи з метою запобігання внутрішнім і зовнішнім загрозам. Найнебезпечнішими загрозами економічній безпеці України за останні кілька років є: втрата виробничих потужностей, щорічне зростання зовнішнього боргу, небезпека переходу країни до стану фінансової кризи; недостатня інвестиційна активність, низька конкурентоспроможність продукції на зовнішньому ринку, високий рівень бідності та критично низька якість життя більшості українців, відплив капіталу. Крім того, нині можливість майбутнього розвитку процесу фінансової інклюзії не лише в Україні, а й у всьому світі значною мірою залежить від глобальної кризи в охороні здоров’я пандемії COVID-19, спричиненої коронавірусом. Пандемія COVID-19 суттєво вплинула на розвиток усіх сфер, і фінансовий сектор не став винятком і постраждав чи не найбільше.Ensuring financial security at all levels of government is an important issue for many countries, including Ukraine. Financial security is a dynamic process of financial relations, during which a favorable environment for economic growth and the necessary resources are created to improve the existing financial system to prevent internal and external threats. Over the past few years, the most dangerous threats to Ukraine`s economic security are as follows: loss of production capacity, the annual increase in external debt, the danger of the country’s transition to a state of the financial crisis; insufficient investment activity, low competitiveness of products on the foreign market, high level of poverty and critically low quality of life of most of the Ukrainian people, capital outflow. Moreover, nowadays an opportunity for future development of the financial inclusion process not only in Ukraine, but worldwide, greatly depends on the global crises of health COVID-19 pandemic caused by a coronavirus. The COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on the development of all areas and the financial sector was not an exception and was affected perhaps the most.
