Innovation Development as a Driver of Country’s Competitiveness: The Impact Assessment.

Abstract

One of the UN Sustainable Development Goals is to promote sustainable economic growth and policies focused on entrepreneurship and innovation (The United Nations). Thus, inclusive, and sustainable industrialization together with innovation and infrastructure have the potential to increase the dynamic and competitive economic forces that create employment and income. However, if the least developed countries are to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, they must not only increase production levels, which declined even before the COVID-19 pandemic, but modernize sustainable critical infrastructure and increase investment in research and innovation.Однією з Цілей сталого розвитку ООН є сприяння сталому економічному зростанню та політикам, спрямованим на підприємництво та інновації (Організація Об’єднаних Націй). Таким чином, інклюзивна та стійка індустріалізація разом з інновації та інфраструктура мають потенціал для посилення динамічних і конкурентоспроможних економічних сил, які створюють зайнятість і дохід. Однак, якщо найменш розвинені країни хочуть досягти Цілей сталого розвитку ООН до 2030 року, вони повинні не лише збільшити рівень виробництва, який знизився ще до пандемії COVID-19, але й модернізувати стійку критичну інфраструктуру та збільшити інвестиції в дослідження та інновації.
