Способи передачі німецьких назв казкових героїв на українську

Abstract

У дипломній роботі досліджено особливості утворення та перекладу характонімів у німецьких народних та літературних казках. Характоніми — це власні назви персонажів, які підкреслюють їхні домінуючі риси та сприяють формуванню образів героїв і сюжету. Основну увагу приділено способам творення характонімів, таким як словоскладання, суфіксальний і префіксальний способи, субстантивація частин мови. Аналізовано труднощі перекладу характонімів на українську мову, зокрема проблему збереження семантичного й емоційного навантаження. Розглянуто основні прийоми перекладу, серед яких транскрипція, транслітерація, калькування, описовий і еквівалентний переклади. Визначено типові помилки при перекладі, включаючи недоречне одомашнення чи очуження назв, що призводять до втрати їхнього функціонального значення. У роботі також висвітлено специфіку ономастикону німецьких казок, включаючи реальні географічні назви, міфоніми та вигадані топоніми, що відіграють важливу роль у створенні казкового світу. Досліджено вплив національно-специфічного контексту на перекладацькі рішення. Практична частина присвячена розробці системи вправ для студентів перекладацьких спеціальностей, спрямованих на формування навичок перекладу онімної лексики. Результати роботи можуть бути використані у подальших дослідженнях специфіки перекладу міфонімів та характонімів у німецькій літературі, а також у навчальному процесі для підвищення перекладацької компетенції студентів.This research paper investigates the peculiarities of the formation and translation of characteronyms in German folk and literary fairy tales. Charactonyms are proper names of characters that emphasise their dominant features and contribute to the formation of characters' images and plot. The main attention is paid to the ways of creating characteronyms, such as word formation, suffix and prefix methods, and substantiation of parts of speech. The difficulties of translating characteronyms into Ukrainian are analysed the problem of preserving the semantic and emotional load. The main methods of translation are considered, including transcription, transliteration, calquing, descriptive and equivalent translation. Typical mistakes in translation are identified, including inappropriate domestication or alienation of names, which lead to the loss of their functional meaning. The work also highlights the specifics of the onomasticon of German fairy tales, including real place names, mythonyms and fictional toponyms that play an important role in creating the fairy tale world. The influence of the national-specific context on translation decisions is investigated. The practical part is devoted to the development of a system of exercises for students of translation specialities aimed at developing skills in translating onomatopoeia. The results of the work can be used in further studies of the specifics of translation of mythonyms and characteronyms in German literature, as well as in the educational process to improve students' translation competence.
