Socio-economic patterns of labor market functioning in the public health: challenges connected with COVID-19

Abstract

Мета: Сформувати методологічну основу для оцінки соціально-економічних тенденцій функціонування ринку праці в галузі охорони здоров'я. Матеріали та методи: У статті проаналізовано наукові методи дослідження ринку праці, визначено їх основні переваги та недоліки. Запропонована модель базується на оцінці попиту та пропозиції для професійних медичних працівників. Для обох показників дослідження спочатку встановлювало базу розрахунку, а потім цей параметр помножували на ряд детермінант корекції. Висновки: На ринок професійних медичних працівників найбільший вплив мали пандемічні тенденції. Перелік та обсяг освітніх послуг, що надаються регіональними професійно-технічними навчальними закладами, повинні чітко відповідати потребам регіонального рівня в умовах пандемії COVID-19.The aim: To form a methodological basis for assessing socio-economic trends in operation of the labor market in the health care. Materials and methods: The article analyzes the scientific methods of the investigation the labor market, determines their main advantages and disadvantages. The proposed model is based on the evaluation of supply and demand for the vocational medical professionals. Both for all indicators, the study initially set the calculation base and then this parameter was multiplied by a number of correction determinants. Conclusions: The market of the vocational medical professionals became the most influenced from the pandemic tendencies. The list and scope of educational services provided by regional vocational educational institutions should clearly correspond to the needs of regional level in the condition of the pandemic COVID-19.
