Abstract
The modern labor market is characterized by growing requirements for
university graduates. Among these requirements are the improvement of the
quality of professional training of specialists, the formation of "lifelong
learning" skills, etc. Continuous updating of training courses, formation of
future specialists' ability to make effective decisions in the "information
boom" conditions are also relevant. Therefore, during the last time, the trend
towards the introduction of "digital learning" was followed in the education
system: the speakers of the education industry declared face-to-face classes
in favor of independent remote learning using computer / network
technologies [1]. As follows from the available statistics [2], 39 % of US
university students preferred distance learning in 2022 (Fig. 1); additionally,
the U.S. distance learning market is estimated to be worth $12.81 billion
between 2020 and 2024.
