Role of medical bloggers and experts in forming the national narrative in the conditions of hybrid war
(Sumy State University, 2025) Мальована, Нiна Володимирiвна; Malovana, Nina Volodymyrivna; Metel’s’ky, О.
Hybrid war is a war with the combination and use of conventional weapons, guerrilla warfare, terrorism, cyberwarfare, trade wars, patent wars, revanchist movements, propaganda, human rights violations, crimes against humanity, military exercises, displacement, usurpation, influence on public opinion, criminal acts, censorship, etc. (Вєдєнєєв Д. В., Семенюк, 2020). In addition, one of the means of hybrid warfare is the use of criminal behavior to achieve certain political goals, the main tool of which is the creation by the aggressor state in the state chosen for aggression, of internal contradictions and conflicts with its further use to achieve the political goals of the aggressor (Савлюк, 2024).

The international dimension of recreational media communication: global trends and local adaptations
(Sumy State University, 2025) Мальована, Нiна Володимирiвна; Malovana, Nina Volodymyrivna; Pustovyi, R.
Recreational media communication (RMC) has become a vital component of the contemporary media landscape, fostering interaction between diverse cultures through content focused on leisure and entertainment. However, the development of a globalized media environment presents new challenges, compelling media companies to adapt global trends to local conditions while considering the cultural, social, and economic specificities of different regions. There are several global trends in RMC such as: 1. Digitalization and Globalization of Content. The rise of digital platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, and social media (Facebook, Instagram) has facilitated the rapid global distribution of recreational content. These platforms serve as principal agents of media globalization, yet they simultaneously enable localized adaptations by offering a variety of formats – including video, music, and online games – through which users from different countries engage with media (Thusu, 2007). 2. Media Convergence. Another prominent trend is media convergence, whereby traditional media (television, radio) integrate with emerging technologies (mobile applications, online platforms). This convergence enables the creation of interactive, multimedia content that is accessible anytime and anywhere. Particularly in recreational media communication, convergence enhances the ability to attract audiences across different cultures and social groups (Jenkins, 2006). 3. Interactivity and Personalization. The personalization of content through data analytics and artificial intelligence has become a crucial aspect of recreational media development. Media platforms leverage algorithms to tailor content to users’ individual preferences, offering personalized recommendations based on viewing histories and behavioral patterns (Soler-Adillon, 2018).

Language registers as a means of speakers’s adaptation to the sociocultural context of communication
(Sumy State University, 2025) Мальована, Нiна Володимирiвна; Malovana, Nina Volodymyrivna; Yusiuk, А.
In today’s multicultural society, effective communication requires not only linguistic proficiency but also a deep sociolinguistic understanding of the language environment. The sociocultural contexts in which communication takes place can significantly alter an individual’s language behavior: a conversation with a friend in an informal setting, a presentation at a conference, a formal address to an official, a letter to a government institution, or a discussion of meeting results on Zoom - each of these situations calls for a different language register. Such contexts vary according to the social roles of the participants, their level of familiarity, institutional objectives, expectations regarding language formulas, and norms of etiquette. The inability to adapt one’s language to these parameters reduces communication effectiveness, leads to misunderstandings, or creates an impression of incompetence (Trudgill, 2022).

The transformative effects of globalization and internationalization of schooling on modern educational processes
(Sumy State University, 2025) Kriuchko, S.; Мальована, Нiна Володимирiвна; Malovana, Nina Volodymyrivna
The purpose of this abstract is to investigate the transformative effects of globalization and internationalization on modern educational processes, considering how digitalization, international standards, and intercultural programs reshape traditional pedagogy while simultaneously presenting challenges to cultural identity and educational equality. Methods. A systematic literature search was conducted, drawing upon academic resources and relevant publications on the impact of globalization and internationalization in education. Results. Modern educational systems are currently grappling with the paradox of globalization. While new technologies and international collaboration offer unprecedented opportunities, they also intensify challenges related to cultural homogenization, educational inequality, and the balance between global competencies and local traditions. The rapid adoption of personalized learning, digital platforms, and intercultural programs not only transforms traditional pedagogical approaches but also introduces new societal challenges—such as the commercialization of education, resistance to cultural homogenization, and the tension between global competencies and local traditions.

A comprehensive approach to hypothyroidism therapy: lifestyle, pharmacology, and metabolic health
(Sumy State University, 2025) Cherkashyna, A.; Мальована, Нiна Володимирiвна; Malovana, Nina Volodymyrivna
A comprehensive approach to hypothyroidism therapy that combines adequate pharmacological correction, regular physical activity, and balanced nutrition is a key factor in improving patients’ quality of life and preventing metabolic complications [1, p.170]. Hypothyroidism, one of the most prevalent endocrine disorders, is characterized by insufficient production of thyroid hormones, resulting in a reduced basal metabolic rate, energy imbalance, dyslipidemia, impaired glucose tolerance, and deterioration of overall health. Clinical symptoms often include persistent fatigue, cold intolerance, weight gain, depression, memory impairment, and decreased physical performance, which may partially persist despite standard levothyroxine replacement therapy [2, p.121]. This persistence of symptoms indicates the need for an expanded, multimodal therapeutic strategy. Non-pharmacological interventions – including lifestyle modification, physical activity, and targeted nutritional therapy – are essential components that contribute to the restoration of metabolic balance and functional homeostasis [3, p.2].
