As everyone probably knows, technology continues to evolve and change the world; the way we teach and learn has also been transforming. A very interesting innovation is the use of chatbots for language teaching. Teaching English is a challenging task, especially when it comes to non-native speakers. Many students struggle to learn English due to its complex grammar rules, vocabulary, and pronunciation. However, with the help of ChatGPT, teaching English can become much easier and more effective. That is why this topic is relevant and interesting. The purpose of the research is to discuss a more straightforward way of learning English through the use of ChatGPT.

Nowadays, when students have access to any information via the Internet, ‘live’ communication in the classroom, the opportunity to observe the other people’s behavior and emotions, to perform in public are those invaluable resources that attract students with their content and emotional coloring. We have decided to highlight the issue of team teaching as we have our own teaching experience together with the Peace Corps volunteer who came to Sumy State University to work on the project “Teaching English as a Foreign Language”. The experiment lasted for two years. In the course of our collaboration we were able to observe the progress in students’ knowledge, increase in their linguistic competence, motivation and interest. Many students started attending weekly meetings of the English Club in order to improve their spoken English, broaden their worldview through intercultural communication and enrich vocabulary. Now, when after a two-year stay at Foreign Languages Department our volunteer has gone home, we want not to forget the acquired experience, to save and share the achievements obtained over that period of time.

Written peer response is an important tool in English for academic purposes
(Sumy State University, 2017) Башлак, Ірина Анатоліївна; Башлак, Ирина Анатольевна; Bashlak, Iryna Anatoliivna
Over the past fifteen years, the process approach to composition, which was originally developed for first language instruction, has become popular among ESOL writing teachers. A key component of this approach is peer response (also known as peer review, peer feedback, peer editing, and peer evaluation),in which students read each other’s papers and provide feedback to the writer, usually answering specific questions the teacher has provided. In most cases the questions focus on organization and style, rather than surface-level grammar or spelling mistakes.

Harry Blamires is widely known for his works of literary history and criticism. For over three decades students in the USA and the UK havebenefitted from his classic guide to Joyce’s Ulysses, The New Bloomsday Book. More recently, in The Cassell Guide to Common Errors in English and The Penguin Guide to Plain English, he has shown how lively and entertaining the exploration of current usage of English language can be. Since the verb is a key element in the structure of utterance, good writing is impossible without correct use of verbs.

The foundation of the English language
(Sumy State University, 2016) Кобякова, Ірина Карпівна; Кобякова, Ирина Карповна; Kobiakova, Iryna Karpivna; Voitsekhovska, K.
English has an official status in 87 countries and territories, far more than any other language. 83% of students in European Union are studying English. Since 1989 the Pasteur Society in Paris in English has published three of the most important scientific journals. 85% of the world’s international organizations make use of the English language, with one-third using English exclusively. The history of the English language is a classic rags-to-riches tale. In the year A.D. 450 four marauding Germanic tribes crossed the North Sea and overran the Celts (following the withdrawal of Roman troops from Britain). With the ascension of the French-speaking Normans to the throne of England in 1066, the influence of the English language probably decreased. It remained the language of the peasantry. Until 1399, England lacked a ruler whose mother tongue was English.
