Item The influence of military actions on the levels of heavy metals for humans and environment(Сумський державний університет, 2024) Kozynska, P.Y.The issue of studying the effects of pollution by toxic substances resulting from military actions is not new, but remains largely understudied in many aspects. Increasingly, scientific data demonstrate that armed conflicts and military activities significantly contribute to the contamination of the environment with toxic substances, including toxic metals. Recently, this problem has become acute for Ukraine as well (Andrusyshyna et al., 2022).Item Tobacco smoke as a source incoming of toxic metals and lithium in the human body(Сумський державний університет, 2020) Deineko, O.S.; Sosnin, I.A.Harmful substances can enter the human and animal body in three main ways: with drinking water, food, and with the air we breathe. Smoking is a combined way of getting harmful substances into the human body: through the lungs with air and through the gastrointestinal tract with saliva. With tobacco smoke, an aerosol containing solid and liquid dispersed phases, more than 2000 substances enter the body, including about 70 substances that can cause cancer (Leah M. Ranney, Sarah D. Kowitt et al., 2019).
