Without adequate work of these analyzers, the moral condition of a person and his working capacity deteriorate. Knowledge of the clinical anatomy and physiology of the ENT organs and methods of their research is necessary for a wide range of specialists, which makes it possible to recognize lesions of these organs in time, establish the correct diagnosis, prescribe and perform adequate therapy. In recent years, a significant increase in the number of patients with acute and chronic diseases of the nose can be observed, and their specific weight in the structure of general ENT pathology is increasing. Nasal furuncle is a dangerous disease, as it can lead to severe orbital and intracranial complications that threaten a person's life. The curvature of the nasal septum is found in almost 30 % of people, it causes not only constant complications of nasal breathing, but also the development of chronic inflammatory processes of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, dysfunction of many organs and systems of the human body. Inflammatory processes of the paranasal sinuses often lead to the development of chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and pneumonia. Only through a comprehensive comparison of anamnestic data, results of objective, laboratory, functional, and instrumental examinations can a complete understanding of the overall functional and morphological changes in the body be obtained.
