Item Challenges, Barriers, and the Underrepresentation of Black Women in Sustainable Global World Environment(Sumy State University, 2023) Branch, E.; Kasztelnik, K.Жінки складають щонайменше 50,8% населення Сполучених Штатів, а 46,8% є професійною робочою силою згідно з короткими фактами перепису населення 2016 року. Міністерство праці США, n.d.). Незважаючи на те, що жінки становлять половину населення Сполучених Штатів, жінки займають лише 26% керівних посад у робочій силі. У дослідженні 2019 року «Жінки на робочому місці 2019» McKinsey & Company виявили, що жінки все ще відстають у корпоративній Америці в сферах різниці в оплаті праці, просування по службі через зламану сходинку, скляні стелі, відсутність навчання та розвитку, серед інших статей і расові бар'єри. Справедливість на робочому місці», зламана сходинка є відсутньою сходинкою на «корпоративних сходах», яка перешкоджає просуванню жінок на посадах початкового рівня до керівництва. Зламана сходинка є більш важливою перешкодою для чорношкірих жінок на робочому місці. Щоб успішно орієнтуватися на робочому місці та піднятися на керівні посади, темношкірі жінки побачили необхідність використовувати стратегії наполегливості через недостатнє представництво та вплив раси та традиційних привілейованих гендерних ролей. У результатах дослідження розглядаються проблеми, бар’єри та стратегії наполегливості, які використовували темношкірі жінки, щоб піднятися на керівні посади. Наставництво та спонсорство мають вирішальне значення для того, щоб допомогти чорношкірим жінкам просуватися на робочому місці. Дослідження може мати велике значення для чорношкірих жінок-менеджерів і майбутніх лідерів. Без критичного впливу наставника чи спонсора темношкіра жінка залишатиметься недостатньо представленою на керівних посадах. Подальше дослідження конкретних стратегій наполегливості та того, як вони могли бути продемонстровані в їхніх університетських програмах для підготовки темношкірих жінок до професійної кар’єри.Item Global overview of modern financing typologies to mitigate financial risks in development countries(Sumy State University, 2023) Patel, S.; Kasztelnik, K.; Zelihic, M.In this study, we reviewed the laws and legal regulations that mandate banks and financial services organizations to implement anti-money laundering efforts which are responsible to detect and mitigate the risks of money laundering and modern financing. We examined the topics of money laundering and modern financing in greater depth to understand the risk factors related to each financial crime. Understanding the aspects of each financial crime is necessary to comprehend predicate offense typologies. We continued with a review and synthesis of the literature on money laundering and modern financing typologies. We concluded the review with an analysis of Gary Becker’s economic theory of criminal behavior and the neoclassical approach to criminal behavior. As suggested by the key concepts reviewed in this literature review, predicate offenses are evolving as prevailing conditions of society change. A major global challenge in recent times is the Covid-19 pandemic crisis which has increased financial risks worldwide (Klimczak et al., 2021). Understanding the different types of predicate offenses and typologies portrays a holistic process of how criminals launder money or finance modern acts. A review of the existing literature demonstrated intensive research on the topic of financial crime but there is a gap in the current legislative and financial risk management framework. The legislative and financial risk management framework detects economic uncertainties and risk factors requiring a reevaluation of financial risk measurement methodologies to mitigate the risk consequences of money laundering and modern financing activities. A best practice to provide a sound framework to manage financial risks is for U.S. banking and financial service company compliance managers to identify predicate offense typologies. American society could benefit from the results of the study (Klimczak et al., 2021). The banking and financial industries ought to be prepared for the future and continue to adapt to new emerging threats, varying consumer classification, and changing environment. It is essential for compliance leaders to implement public education initiatives and help their customers recognize their role in combating money laundering and modern financing activities. Overall, the study has contributed to positive social change by identifying predicate offense typologies that can help U.S. banking and financial services company compliance managers reduce the risks of money laundering and modern financing activities (Klimczak et al., 2021).Item Observational Study of Tax Compliance and Tax Evasion in Nigeria(Sumy State University, 2022) Ogunshola, I.B.; Kasztelnik, K.У цій статті узагальнено аргументи та контраргументи наукової дискусії щодо ухилення від оподаткування. Основна мета дослідження полягає в тому, щоб дослідити, як лідери виробничих галузей можуть зрозуміти причини ухилення від сплати податків у виробничих компаніях, що може запобігти застосуванню санкцій з боку податкових органів у штаті Лагос, Нігерія. Систематизація літературних джерел та підходів до вирішення проблеми низьких податкових надходжень показала наявність значної кількості факторів ухилення від сплати податків. Актуальність вирішення цієї наукової проблеми полягає в тому, що високий рівень ухилення від сплати податків може призвести до зменшення податкових надходжень до такого ступеня, що це загрожуватиме спроможності уряду Нігерії фінансувати фіскальні заходи. Дослідження теми ухилення від оподаткування в роботі здійснюється в такій логічній послідовності: на першому етапі проводиться аналіз платників податків; ставлення до дотримання податкового законодавства в країнах, що розвиваються, і рівень дотримання податкового законодавства та ухилення від сплати податків. На другому етапі в статті узагальнено та проаналізовано фактори, що впливають на дотримання податкового законодавства, та фактори, що впливають на ухилення від сплати податків, а також визначено економічні наслідки цих процесів. Методичним інструментарієм методів дослідження були методи узагальнення, аналізу та узагальнення наукової літератури, формалізації та абстрагування. Об’єктом дослідження є теорії та/або концепції ухилення від оподаткування, зокрема: теорія аргументованої дії та теорія життєвого циклу впровадження технологій. У статті наведено результати емпіричного аналізу чинників ухилення від сплати податків, який засвідчив, що підприємства-виробники навмисно не подають необхідні податкові декларації, щоб уникнути податкових зобов’язань. Дослідження емпірично підтверджує та теоретично доводить, що перелік факторів ухилення від сплати податків також може включати інші причини ухилення від сплати податків для виробничих компаній, такі як недостатня освіта та розуміння вимог до податкової документації, проблеми процесу, проблеми доступу до технологій та інші. . Результати дослідження можуть бути корисними податковим органам у Лагосі для навчання інших секторів, які займаються ухиленням від сплати податків, щоб підвищити загальний рівень дотримання податкового законодавства.Item Essentiality of Small Business Owners Neuroticism, and Extroversion with the Influence on Macroeconomy and Bank Risk Microloans in the United States(Sumy State University, 2021) Moncayo, L.; Kasztelnik, K.This study addressed the perceived negative individual characteristics that may precipitate failure of small business owners in securing microloans. Several attempts have been made to the importance that small businesses have on the economy, and small businesses constitute over half of all jobs. No known empirical research has focused on exploring the association between transformational leadership behavior and job satisfaction among small businesses in Virginia.
