It is established that the value of the temperature coefficient of resistance depends on the total thickness of the samples and the concentration of magnetic component. The components concentration in the system is shown to affect the formation of the solid solution and the granular film alloy. The obtained ratio to assess and predict the magnitude of thermal and concentration coefficients of AMR, virtually can not be done in the classical model, since it allows complex ratio with many uncertain parameters.Item Dielectric Relaxation in Sr(Co1/3Nb2/3)O3 Compound – A Candidate For Microwave Applications(Sumy State University, 2014) Bishnoi, B.S.; Mehta, P.K.; Panchal, C.J.; Desai, M.S.; Kher, V.H.; Великодний, Дмитро Володимирович; Великодный, Дмитрий Владимирович; Velykodnyi, Dmytro Volodymyrovych; Проценко, Іван Юхимович; Проценко, Иван Ефимович; Protsenko, Ivan YukhymovychRelaxor ferroelectric compounds Sr(B1/3Nb2/3)O3, where (B = Mg2+, Co2+, Cu2+), synthesized by standard so-lid state reaction technique, exhibit strong correlation between structure, dielectric and transport behavior. The structure changes from highly distorted monoclinic structure in Mg2+ and Co2+ substituted samples to partially distorted Tetragonal structure in Cu substituted samples. In Cu2+ based system significant Jahn- Teller distortion induced enhancements in dielectric properties have also been observed. Further, weak Jahn- Teller distortion due to unevenly occupied t2g levels in Co2+ produces intermediate rise in ε' as well as inbuilt flexibility to conduction electron movement enhances dielectric loss (tan δ). On the other hand, strong Jahn-Teller effects in Cu2+ substituted compound, due to unevenly occupied eg levels, results in large enhancement in ε' and frequency exponent ‘s’ ( 500 at 300 K temperature & at 10 KHz frequency). The UV-Vis studies give the wide energy band gap semi conducting values {Eg ≥ 3.00 eV}. Analyzed limiting cases of large, small and normal concentration of magnetic granules. It is concluded that in all three cases, the strain coefficient is defined tensoresistive properties of the matrix solid solution film samples as granules sold ballistic electrocarry charge.Item Effect of Substrate Temperature on the Electrochromic Properties of Nickel Oxide Thin Films by e-Beam Evaporation Method(Sumy State University, 2013) Patel, K.J.; Desai, M.S.; Panchal, C.J.; Mehta, P.K.; Пазуха, Ірина Михайлівна; Пазуха, Ирина Михайловна; Pazukha, Iryna Mykhailivna; Проценко, Іван Юхимович; Проценко, Иван Ефимович; Protsenko, Ivan YukhymovychNickel Oxide (NiO), an anodic coloring material, is used as a counter electrode layer in Electrochromic (EC) devices in combination with Tungsten Oxide (WO3) as an EC layer. The NiO thin films were prepared on glass and indium tin oxide coated glass substrates by e-beam evaporation technique at different substrate temperatures ranging from room temperature (27 C) to 400 C. The crystallization of the film improves with increase in substrate temperature as inferred from the glancing incident X-ray diffraction measurement. The increase in substrate temperature of the films causes an increase in the transmittance. The electrochromic properties of NiO thin films were investigated in an aqueous alkaline electrolyte (1M KOH) by means of transmittance, cyclic voltammetry (CV), and chronoamperometry (CA) measurements. It is found that films prepared at lower substrate temperature, up to 100 C, have better EC properties. Prepared CIAS thin films were annealed at 573 K for one hour in vacuum. The influence of film’s thickness and the annealing temperature were characterized by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive analysis of X-ray (EDAX), Optical transmission measurements, and Hall Effect measurement. As the film thickness increases the crystallinity improves and due to that the optical absorption also improves. The further improvement for different thicknesses of CIAS thin films were observed by annealing. The thicker (700 nm) and annealed CIAS thin film shows the crystallite size of 24.3 nm, energy band gap of 1.19 eV, and resistivity of about 9 102 Ω cm. It is concluded that the value of l < 3 units will take place in the case where in the quasi elastic or plastic deformation Poisson coefficient is more than 0.5. Thin films Pt have fcc structure with lattice parameter a 0,390 nm after annealing. The temperature dependences characterized by relative large value of resistivity (ρ ~ 10-6 Ohm m) and relative small value of TCR (β ~ 10-4 K-1) respectively. Strain properties characterized by a wide interval of elastic deformation (more than 1 %), relatively low value of gauge factor (1,5 – 3 units).
