Abstract Existing technics for obtaining fine droplets of liquid used to intensify heat and mass transfer diffusion processes and chemical transformations are characterized by high electric energy consumption for atomization. Application of large droplets flowing out of 2 to 6 mm dia. branches under a pressure of 0.02 to 0.05 MPa can be one of the ways to energy saving. Given experimental studies of energy saving water droplets formation process under the conditions described here above resulted in description of mass transfer kinetics.
