Abstract The influence of Сu, Zn, Pb, Cr on sensitivity male gametophyte of Acer negundo, Robinia pseudoacacia, Philadelphus coronarius, Aesculus hippocastanum, Betula pendula, Catalpa bignonioides, Tilia cordata, Elaeagnus angustifolia was investigated. The most sensitive to metals have appeared the following species: to Cu and Zn - Betula pendula, Catalpa bignonoides, to Pb - Philadelphus coronarius, Catalpa bignonoides to Cr - Philadelphus coronarius, Catalpa bignonoides.
