Abstract In work the decision of a task in view - development of a design procedure averaged kinematics parameters is given and its application for the analysis and use of hydro dynamical characteristics of elements flow space in high-head turbine Frances is shown. Proceeding from the equations of kinematics communication for elementary cascades in a layer of variable thickness, dependences for definition of hydro dynamical parameters of runner cascade space are received. Experimental definition of these parameters by the above-stated technique shows good enough coordination with the calculated data.
