Abstract The authors analize the use of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 518 patients with cholecystitis. The causes, with lead to conversion, were adduced. Several principles were elaborated, which is necessary to fol¬low doing laparoscopic cholecystectomy for improvement of results of treatment in patients and for complications reduction.
