Abstract	The thesis to learning the natural and resource potential (NRP) of the territory. It contains constructive – geographical analysis, theoretical and methodological bases of estimation, the results of estimation and division into districts NRP of the territory. It gave a possibility to single out the main forms of territorial organization and to carry its typification, to define the main directions of optimization of using the natural and resources potential.
