Abstract Central Asia is located in the center of the Eurasian continent - at the crossroads of Europe and Asia and covers an area of about 4 million. km2. The region covers an area of five countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
