Abstract

Неоплатонізм і християнство – дві синкретичні релігійно-філософські системи, суперечливі взаємовідносини яких склали непересічну тенденцію духовного розпитку людства в перехідну епоху від Античності до Середньовіччя. У монографії аналізуються основні етапи, напрямки і форми освоєння ранньохристиянськими авторами неоплатонічної спадщини в процесі філософського обґрунтування системи богослов’я. Розкривається роль неоплатонізму в забезпеченні умов для виконання християнством вселенської місії протягом його 2000-літньої історії, простежується вплив пізньоантичної мудрості на вітчизняну культуру.
