Abstract	Дана стаття присвячена дослідженню зв’язку та відмінностей між поняттями “інформація” та “знання” в контексті проблем соціального страхування і необхідності підвищення продуктивності праці, розгляду відмінностей між концепціями інформаційної економіки та економіки знань. Автор аналізує можливості інновацій в сфері інформаційних технологій щодо підвищення продуктивності суспільної праці. This paper is devoted to examination of connections and differences between concepts of “information” and “knowledge” in context of social insurance problems and problems of improving labor productivity. In this article the differences between the theories of “informational economy” and “knowledge-based economy” are regarded. The author analyses the potential of informational technologies as for improving labor productivity.
