Abstract	We examined 232 patients with brain stroke. Author has made analysis the causes of death from stroke. The work is based on the analysis of clinical symptoms, clinical course, laboratory examination data, computed tomographic scanning and postmortem examination. The causes of death from stroke were study. The significance of intracerebral and somatic complication that is a cause of death was found. Strategy and concrete recommendations on the prevention and treatment of stroke complication are given.
