Abstract

A debate in modern literature was conducting concerning the problem sepsis among children born before time in pregnancy. The death rate in children with sepsis come up to 56,7-75%. There are two types of sepsis: first sepsis and intrahospital sepsis. First sepsis is caused by vaginal flora especially streptococcus group B. The cause of intrahospital sepsis is mostly the gramnegative bacteria. The highest risk of children born before time of pregnancy getting general sepsis is caused by the defect in natural resistance and immunal reaction.Peculiarities of clinic of sepsis in children born before time are marked out. Specific paraclinic criteria do not exist. Most important in pediatrics are the optimal children care condition, adequate oxygenation, modulation of immunity and medicines with a bactoricidal killing effect.
