It is this system that will allow an individual not only to realize the potential and improve the quality of life, but also to balance the labor market, will promote socio-economic development of the community, region, country, etc. However, in order for this system to function effectively, it is necessary to introduce changes to the financial mechanism, which would involve the effective use of the available, and the attraction of additional financial resources. This article investigates the essence of the notion of efficiency and analyzes the basic methods for its measurement. Thus, the main goal of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the existing financial support of the lifelong learning system in regions of Ukraine through stochastic frontier analysis. Calculations are made using the computer programme FRONTIER 4.1. This will allow to develop the further action plan and formulate tasks for regional financial policy for the establishment of public-private partnership and the use of a wider range of tools for the financial support of the LLLS.Item Gravity model analysis of client-facing choice (in terms of probability evaluation of clients’ visits to banks)(Sumy State University, 2017) Vashchenko, M.; Cherniavskyi, I.The crisis of the banking sector caused a massive outflow of bank customers. Due to unfavorable situation in the currency and credit markets – exchange rate, undermining the stability of the course of the national currency, outflow of deposit funds, mass closing of accounts in banks – financial institutions went bust. Public confidence in the banking sector has decreased, and as a result – the banks have begun to lose customers in large numbers. In order to keep up, to survive in conditions of uncertainty, risk, and increased competition, most banks choose development strategies which are aimed at improving customer service, since customer choice and confidence in the bank are the key of successful banking business. That is why all aspects of the bank’s activities should be aimed at creating a client base of the bank, sufficient to ensure profit as a result of its activities, to maintain the stability of the client base in the development of the bank. In this regard, the development and implementation of a strategic direction for managing the customer base of the bank deserves more attention than not disposable customer selection. The client base and client selection should be considered as ordinary management objects that require planning and forecasting using pro-technology and modern mathematical tools. Before the management of the bank there is a problem: how to stay in the market and not give up their positions to competitors and attract new clients’ attention to the bank. A solution to this problem can be found by using gravity models.Item Еfficiency of marketing communications in banks(Sumy State University, 2017) Пімоненко, Тетяна Володимирівна; Пимоненко, Татьяна Владимировна; Pimonenko, Tetiana Volodymyrivna; Radchenko, O.; Palienko, M.The paper deals with analysing the main approaches to evaluate the quality and efficiency of the bank’s marketing communications. The approaches to define the bank’s marketing communications were analysed and systematized by the authors. Besides, the authors allocated the main features of the bank’s marketing communications in the ongoing Ukrainian economic situation. Moreover, they proposed to use the mathematical method, to identify the efficiency of the bank’s marketing communications. According to that method the efficiency of the bank’s marketing communications could be determined through the evaluation of the increasing volume of the services rendered by the bank. This method gives an opportunity to account the time lag between implementation of the bank’s marketing communications and starting of its action. With purpose to verify abovementioned approach, the authors calculated the efficiency of the bank’s marketing communications of the JSC “Oschadbank” (Sumy, Ukraine).Item Is Proxemics Influencing Leadership?(Sumy State University, 2017) Trifu, A.In this paper, we have no intention to focus on leaders/leadership, on its relationships and debates with man-agement. Our scope is to understand if one major component of the nonverbal communication, i.e. the prox-emics, has an influence on leaders/leadership and to highlight the measure of it. Passing through the Fiedler’s Contingency Model, as an example, we may say that the charismatic and effi-cient leader is focused on the on the tandem task-relations. What needs to be kept is the fact we are interest-ed in the existence of a Leader, not of a good leader. It is a contradiction in terms. In business, but also in politics, the leader is the person who dominates and convinces people around him to work, or to do something for a common goal. Especially politically speaking, in these years it is needed a change of leadership to be accordingly to the new realities and major challenges and defiances of today’s world. Based even on my own experience, studying the activity and behavior of some leaders of our era and papers regarding this main issue, we concluded that the proxemics is influencing leaders/leadership, in a right measure for each leader, but significant for his actions and the state of leadership.
