Abstract The investigation results of nanoscale phenomena and structural changes due to shock localized im-pacts at electric discharges on thin metal films from copper and chrome are given. Mechanisms of shape-formation of concentric circles within discharge area and ordered nanoparticle aggregates on film surfaces are provided.
