Abstract	В статті йде мова про взаємозв’язок язичницьких і християнських мотивів в українських у народних святах і традиціях. Простежується християнський календарний рік з багаточисленними святами, постами, виявами української гостинності й культури застілля. The article deals with the interconnection of pagan and Christian motifs in Ukrainian in public holidays and traditions. Traces the Christian calendar year with numerous holidays, posts, manifestations of Ukrainian hospitality and culture of the feast.
