Abstract	The lecture notes "Contrastive Stylistics and Grammar of English and Ukrainian" are aimed at students of specialty 035 "Philology". They give the students the materials from certain branches of contrastive typology, acquaint them profoundly with the basic notions of contrastive grammar and stylistics that is the background for their independent learning at the study programme "Germanic languages and literatures (including translation), English as the first foreign language". The lectures are based on the use of knowledge in the form of separate content modules that integrate with other parts of the course. They are complemented with the questions for the self-check that enable the students to apply the theoretical knowledge in practice.
