Стилістично марковані елементи в мові Пантелеймона Куліша

Abstract

Пропоноване спостереження здійснено переважно на матеріалі першодруків творів Пантелеймона Куліша і є частиною цілісного дослідження мови письменника на тлі рідного йому східнополіського говору північного наріччя. Стаття являє собою продовження вивчення стилістично зумовлених елементів в мові П. Куліша; як і попередні розвідки, грунтується на методиці суголосній тій, яку застосували дослідники мови Т.Г. Шевченка (П.Д. Тимошенко, М.А. Жовтобрюх та В.М. Русанівський). У статті розглянуто окремі морфологічні риси мови Куліша в аспекті їхньої стилістичної маркованості. Зокрема, з урахуванням свідчень діалектних джерел, писемних пам’яток, а також тогочасної мовно-літературної практики проаналізовано особливості вживання форм двоїни іменників, коротких форм прикметників, розбіжності у відбитті в першодруках письменника окремих прислівників, часток та сполучників. Стилістичну функцію відповідних мовних одиниць висвітлено через ареалогічне прочитання мови П.О. Куліша, обгрунтовано характер зв’язку цих одиниць з рідномовним середовищем письменника та з тогочасною писемно-літературною практикою. Так, з’ясовано, що, попри безперечний вплив на мову П. Куліша питомого говіркового довкілля, специфіка відбиття розглянутих морфологічних одиниць у мові автора треба пов’язувати із впливом книжної традиції. Зокрема, серед маркерів високого стилю виокремлено короткі форми прикметників та займенників, фонетичні варіанти хоть, тілько, скілько. Особливо виразно настанови автора щодо низького / високого стилю простежуються в історичних художніх текстах.

The proposed observation is based mainly on the material of the first editions of Panteleimon Kulish's works and is part of a holistic study of the writer's language against the background of his native Eastern Polish dialect of the northern dialect. The article is a continuation of the study of stylistically determined elements in the language of P. Kulish; as well as previous investigations, is based on a method consistent with that used by researchers of the language of Taras Shevchenko (P. Tymoshenko, M. Zhovtobryukh and V. Rusanіvsky). The article considers some morphological features of Kulish's language in the aspect of their stylistic marking. In particular, taking into account the evidence of dialectal sources, written monuments, as well as contemporary linguistic and literary practice analyzed the peculiarities of the use of dual forms of nouns, short forms of adjectives, differences in reflection in the writer's first editions of individual adverbs, particles and conjunctions. The stylistic function of the respective language units is highlighted through the areological reading of Kulish's language, the nature of the connection of these units with the native environment of the writer and with the written and literary practice of that time is substantiated. Thus, it was found that, despite the undeniable influence on the language of P. Kulish specific speech environment, the specifics of the reflection of the considered morphological units in the language of the author should be associated with the influence of bookish tradition. In particular, short forms of adjectives and pronouns, phonetic variants хоть, тілько, скілько are singled out among high style markers. The author's instructions on low / high style are especially clear in historical literary texts.
