Abstract	Democracy provides opportunities for citizens to participate in decision-making processes related to sustainable development. Through voting, public consultations, and participation in civil society organizations, citizens can voice their concerns, advocate for environmental protection, and influence policy decisions that promote sustainability. Демократія надає громадянам можливість брати участь у процесах прийняття рішень щодо сталого розвитку. Через голосування, громадські консультації та участь в організаціях громадянського суспільства громадяни можуть висловлювати свої занепокоєння, виступати за захист навколишнього середовища та впливати на політичні рішення, які сприяють сталому розвитку.
