Набуття та реалізація навичок читання, письма, говоріння, аудіювання іноземними студентами за допомогою платформ Google Meet, Skype, Zoom на заняттях з української мови як іноземної

Abstract

Стаття присвячена мовній підготовці іноземних громадян за допомогою відеозв'язку як однієї із форм організації навчання в період карантинних обмежень, спричинених пандемією COVID-19. Досліджено формування навичок читання, письма, говоріння, аудіювання та реалізація їх на практиці за допомогою найпопулярніших платформ для відеоконференцій Google Meet, Skype, Zoom. Проаналізовано головні характеристики платформ Google Meet, Skype, Zoom, серед яких, можливість здійснювати відеозв'язок на безоплатній основі, одночасне підключення великої кількості людей, наявність мобільних версій та легкість у використанні. Досліджено основний набір функцій (запис відео, демонстрація екрану, чат), що дозволяють реалізувати основні види мовленнєвої діяльності. З'ясовано, що для набуття мовних компетентностей іноземних студентів на заняттях з дисципліни "Українська мова як іноземна", а головне успішної їх реалізації на практиці, недостатньо мати базові умови для навчання, тобто якісний інтернет та цифрову техніку. Головна роль у цьому питанні належить викладачам, тобто їх бажанню застосовувати у педагогічній діяльності інноваційні технології, та від мотивації студентів до навчання. Автор дійшов висновку щодо можливості використання режиму відеоконференції для реалізації як репро-дуктивного, так і продуктивного виду мовленнєвої діяльності. Проте, наголошує й на психологічних проблемах: збільшення часу на підготовку навчального контенту, дисципліні під час занять, та швидкій стомлюваності через довготривале перебування в одному положенні. Встановлено, що використання цих платформ (або подібних) має бути як альтернатива або допоміжний засіб навчання, а не основний. Окреслено перспективи подальших наукових досліджень у частині пошуку нових форм організації онлайн-занять, дистанційного навчання, зокрема застосування мобільних технологій для набуття мовленнєвих компетентностей іноземними студентами на заняттях з дисципліни "Українська мова як іноземна"The article is devoted to the language training of foreign citizens through video communication as one of the forms of training organization in the period of quarantine restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills formation have been investigated and put into practice using the most popular video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet, Skype, Zoom. The main parameters of the Google Meet, Skype, and Zoom platforms have been analyzed, including the possibility of free video calls, simultaneous connection of a large number of people, availability of mobile versions and ease of use. The basic set of functions (video recording, screen demonstration, chats, etc.). Allowing the implementation of the main types of speech activities was investigated. It was found out that in order to obtain language competences of foreign students at the lessons of the discipline "Ukrainian as a foreign language", and most importantly their successful implementation in practice, it is not enough to have basic conditions for learning, i.e. high quality Internet and digital equipment. The main role in this matter belongs to teachers, i.e. their desire to apply innovative technologies in their pedagogical activity and to motivate students to learn. The author concluded that it is possible to use videoconferencing mode to implement both reproductive and productive types of speech activity. However, he also notes psychological problems: increased time to prepare learning content, and rapid fatigue due to staying for a long time in the same position. It is found that the use of these platforms (or similar ones) should be viewed as an alternative or a supplementary learning tool, rather than a basic one. Prospects for further scientific research in terms of search for new forms of online classes organization, distance learning, in particular, the use of mobile technologies to acquire speech competence for foreign students in classes at the discipline "Ukrainian as a foreign language".
