The implementation of strategic planning involves the implementation of a set of actions aimed at taking the organization from a known position to a more desirable position, creating sustainable competitive advantages.Item Correlate of Workforce Diversity and Organisational Performance of Multinational Food Producing Industry in Nigeria(Sumy State University, 2020) Kowo, S.A.; Kadiri, B.I.; Zekeri, A.The paper summarizes the arguments and counterarguments within the scientific discussion on the issue cultural and age diversity of workforce and the level of workers’ productivity in the multinational companies. Three hundred and seventy-five employees from five multinational food companies in Southwest Nigeria form the object of the research. Methodological research tools contain questionnaires; the regression analysis methods was used when testing hypotheses on the existence of a correlation between cultural diversity and team performance; cross-tabulation analysis method; inter-position correlation test, and ANOVA method for generalizing and interpreting the results.Item From Business Modelling to the Leadership and Innovation in Business: Bibliometric Analysis (Banking as a Case)(Sumy State University, 2020) Goncharenko, T.The analysis of approaches to defining the banking business model showed that digital financial technologies, e-commerce, information management are important factors that form the model of leadership and innovation in business. The human resources and the degree of workers’ satisfaction with jobs directly affect the performance of the company.Item “Take a knee” Protests in Professional Sports: An Empirical Study about the Influence on Customer Loyalty to Nike in Germany(Sumy State University, 2020) Giebe, C.; Löffler, L.; Schneider, S.The article deals with the research of opportunities and prospects to use “Take a knee” protest in professional sports for Nike marketing purposes in terms of influencing customer loyalty to that brand. The action “Take a knee” became widely known in 2016, when the coloured quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, Colin Kaepernick, knelt in protest while singing the national anthem of the United States of America before several games to denounce police violence against blacks and coloured people. In 2017 the European community for professional sports firstly supported that action, when Hertha BSC’s Bundesliga team went down on their knees before the kick-off of a Bundesliga game to demonstrate for diversity, tolerance and responsibility. Since Hertha BSC is equipped with the sporting goods of Nike manufacturer, the article suggested and tested the hypothesis that “Take a knee” could have an impact on customer loyalty growth to the Nike brand.Item Czech Students’ Perceptions of Ethical Behavior in Business and Entrepreneurship(Sumy State University, 2020) Barber III, D.; Batchelor, J.H.; Hatten, T.; Gibson, S.G.; Rolínek, L.The central notion of business culture and communication with stakeholders consists in the ethical standards regarding the behaviour of corporation owners and managers, which, on the one hand, form an essential element of successful business activities and partnerships, and on the other hand, are complicated in terms of measuring and managing the phenomenon. This study uses agency and stakeholder theories to compare the ethical standards in the behaviour of businessmen and managers. These theories influence freedom of decision-making and behaviour in entrepreneurial activity based on the personal ethical considerations and individuals’ interests, regardless of the size of their share in the business.Item The Importance of Business Partnership on the World Wide Web(Sumy State University, 2020) Kiss, L.B.An integral component of successful entrepreneurial activity is the establishment of strong relations with partners, the form and type of which varies depending on the sphere of activity and its scope. Microfinancing is the issuance of small loans and other services, such as business development services (BDS), which also comprise components of financial literacy, business registration, market linkages, thereby serving as a reliable mechanism to support low-income individuals to start and grow their businesses and to alleviate poverty in the country.Item Mediating Effects of Stakeholders and Supervision on Corporate Social Responsibility(Sumy State University, 2020) Wang, F.; Lo, J.; Lam, M.The deficit of mineral resources, the aggravation of environmental problems in the world, the decrease in non-renewable resources determined the increasing role of the responsibility of enterprises for the direct and indirect impact on the economic, environmental and social systems of their functioning. The systematization of scientific work in the field of corporate social responsibility showed the lack of comprehensive studies concerning the nature and strength of the impact of direct and latent factors on enterprises’ compliance with the principles of corporate social responsibility.
