Management of International Grant Projects in the Field of Social Integration of Youth: Analysis of the Erasmus+ Program

Abstract

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена дослідженню управління та впливу молодіжних інтеграційних ініціатив на прикладі проєкту MLL. Методологічною основою дослідження є якісне кейс-стаді, що поєднує кабінетне дослідження, аналіз документації та елементи учасницького спостереження. Теоретичний аналіз базується на моделях асиміляції та сегментованої інтеграції, а також на підходах до управління проєктами, зокрема Logical Framework Approach (LFA) та Results-Based Management (RBM). Метою дослідження є аналіз структури та управлінських практик ініціативи, а також оцінка їхнього впливу на ефективність соціальної інтеграції молоді. Робота складається з трьох розділів: перший розкриває теоретичні засади соціальної інтеграції та управління неприбутковими проєктами; другий містить глибокий аналіз кейсу MLL, з акцентом на планування, реалізацію та результати; третій формулює практичні рекомендації щодо вдосконалення управління проєктами Erasmus+, зокрема у сферах стратегічного планування, залучення учасників та цифрового моніторингу. Результати дослідження підкреслюють важливість участі, гнучкості та орієнтації на потреби в управлінні молодіжними проєктами. Попри обмеження одного кейсу, висновки можуть бути корисними для майбутніх ініціатив Erasmus+ та подібних програм, спрямованих на інклюзивний розвиток молоді.

This qualification thesis explores the management and impact of youth integration initiatives through a qualitative case study of the MLL project. The research combines desk study, document analysis, and elements of participant observation, applying theoretical models of assimilation and segmented integration alongside project management frameworks such as the Logical Framework Approach (LFA) and Results-Based Management (RBM). The study aims to examine how the MLL initiative is structured and managed, and how these practices influence the effectiveness of social integration for young people. The thesis is divided into three chapters: the first presents the theoretical foundations of youth integration and nonprofit project management; the second offers a detailed analysis of the MLL project’s planning, implementation, and outcomes; and the third proposes practical recommendations for enhancing Erasmus+ project management, with emphasis on strategic planning, participant engagement, and digital monitoring. Findings underscore the importance of participatory, adaptive, and needs-oriented management approaches in youth-centered projects. While limited to a single case, the insights gained may serve as a reference for future Erasmus+ programmes and similar initiatives promoting inclusive youth development.
