Особливості використання рольової гри на заняттях з англійської мови для розвитку комунікативних навичок майбутніх юристів

Abstract

На даний момент дуже гостро стоїть питання вивчення іноземної мови студентами немовних спеціальностей, адже насамперед студенти зацікавлені у вивченні профільних предметів, іноземна ж мова для них є другорядною дисципліною. Мало хто зі студентів усвідомлює важливість вивчення іноземної мови, проте саме вона дає можливість розширити свої знання у професійній сфері. Завдання викладача у цьому випадку збільшити мотивацію студентів до вивчення іноземної мови, зробити заняття цікавим та інформативним. У статті розглядається рольова гра як засіб навчання іноземної мови для студентів вищих навчальних закладів немовних спеціальностей, а саме студентівюристів. Більшість вчених-методистів розглядають побудову навчання іноземної мови як модель реальної комунікації. Рольова гра максимально наближує навчальну комунікативну ситуацію до реальної. В статті дане визначення поняттю «рольова гра», розглянуті основні етапи її проведення. Наведено методичні рекомендації по реалізації рольових ігор у процесі навчання іноземної мови. Визначене місце та роль викладача у проведенні гри. Приділено увагу основним перевагам та недолікам використання рольових ігор для активізації пізнавальної діяльності студентів.

The article considers the role-playing game as a means of teaching a foreign language for students of higher educational institutions of nonlinguistic specialties, namely, law students. Studying foreign languages by students of non-linguistic specialties is very acute nowadays. It’s common knowledge that students are more interested in studying specialized subjects and less in studying a foreign language. Only some of them realize the importance of learning the foreign language in today’s interconnected and interdependent world that makes it possible to obtain information and expand their professional knowledge, in this case, the teacher’s task is to increase students' motivation to learn a foreign language, to make classes interesting and informative. Most scientistmethodologists consider the model of teaching a foreign language as a model of real communication. Role-playing game maximally brings the educational communicative situation to the real one. The article defines the concept of "role-playing game", considers the main stages of its implementation. The methodical recommendations for the implementation of role-playing games in the process of teaching a foreign language are given. The place and role of the teacher in the game are determined. Attention is paid to the main advantages and disadvantages of using role-playing games to enhance the cognitive activity of students.
