Abstract	У статті розглядається проблема визначення цільового та функціонального призначення прокуратури на сучасному етапі розвитку української державності. Метою статті є визначення мети та завдань прокуратури України, а також розробка системи її функцій. The article considers the problem of determining the purpose and functional purpose of the prosecutor's office at the present stage of development of Ukrainian statehood. The purpose of the article is to determine the purpose and tasks of the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, as well as to develop a system of its functions.
